Had a sweeper on my cub cadet, no pto, but that sweeper was super useful, leaves in the fall, dethatching, etc. that thing was used a lot. We mulched our lawn so no need for a bagger, if the grass was clumping just put the sweeper on and we could get rid of the grass.
2 inches here in Northern KY also. Ok now back to spring please. You’ve done it again. I didn’t know I needed the dethatcher so much until I saw you use it. Ordering it today.

Pull behind wheel driven sweeper works pretty good and only costs a few hundred bucks. I use it in conjunction with the cmp dethatcher to lift debris then sweep it up.
Need a detached on the front of the tractor to lift dead grass snd leaves so the sweeper can do a better job.
Crazy weather
Sure is, seems to be the trend recently. I think we've had freezing weather and snow in the second half of April at least three years in a row.

I heard that! It snowed here several times throughout the day yesterday, but nothing stuck to the ground. Hard frost though and I'm concerned about my fruit trees.

Are you aware of any three point attached buckets? Maybe with a hydraulic top link to scoop/tilt/ dump? It would be great for light yard chores ( mulch/top soil). Looking for a more inexpensive option to buying a complete loader for moving things around. A quick attach would be nice for forks and other equipment. I have seen some online. mostly from other countries or buried in hard to find and uninformative websites. Titan has one but you cant scoop with it.
Also where would a JD 2320 fit in your comparison video?

What is the best attachment to break up 5000 sq ft of soil with softball sized boulders in it?
How much weight is the sweeper collection dolly rated to hold and dump? If it were used to sweep up stones from grass in the Spring or gravel in parking lots, I suspect you could collect a fair bit of weight in that bin.
That’s a good question that I don’t know the answer to. But you’re right, as we swept a cul-de-sac yesterday and the hopper wasn’t even a quarter full, but was very heavy. Electric dump still managed, but in a perfect scenario you could dump in batches, rather than doing it all in one go.
Decisions , Decisions....Grapple? check. Stump Grinder, sure. Snow Pusher , yes....dethatcher, MCS? yes...Budget? Similar to NASA sending the rover to mars...😯
