Darren is the poster child for 'Restraining Orders'. I'd have fired him ASAP, and given him 1-week to arrange for his car to leave the shop. If he pushed it, I'd put a mechanic's lean on his car for storage expense. Parts? I don't know where they went, but submit a list of them, and I'll have a box of replacements sent to your home of record...don't violate the TRO. The show got MUCH BETTER after Darren left.
I honestly believe either Steve Carell based his version of Michael Scott on Mark, or Mark bases his on screen persona on Steve's version of Michael Scott.
Im LOVING that P1800 ES at about 25:00...Man if I had this dude CHIPS hangin around and throwing negativity around i think ID be the one to call the cops and have him removed as a trespasser..CHEESE AND RICE
Darren is either insane or an extremely good character actor employed to throw a curve ball into this series! He does have knowledge of the cars though, maybe thats the curve ball!
I never understood what the deal with Darren was. If he hated Mark and working for him so much why was he working for him? He seemed like a Very Toxic person. I know Mark can be a Dink but for the most part he is screwing around trying to be funny. I can understand not wanting to be apart of the Shenanigans but why stick around and cause problems? The way he acted towards Holly was Insane. On top of the constant belly aching, Slacking and sleeping I would of gotten rid of him rite away. It's funny that ever since Josh and Darren Quit there hasn't been any big problems.
@@robertquackenbush5547 that's scripted. If you remember, Mark got Darren a very good price for the car, in the unfinished state it was in. 35K was a very good price for what there was of the car. Of course Mark replaced all the parts, when they stripped the car back down & finished it. We don't know what Mark made off of restoring it, but you can bet he didn't lose money on it.
I would like to sweeps Josh back Darren to because matc did rip parts from Darren's car a lot even had Josh steal some while Darren's car was at Josh's house in his garage
I'm utterly surprised to see this, since I came across Darren once or twice on FB groups and he didn't seem to be that bad of a guy as he was depicted here, maybe just didn't get along with Mark or idk
These episodes that don't show any production of a well working team is not enjoyable to watch. I prefer the shows that don't involve Darren, he seems like a waste of film.
So dunning this time frame Will was not a main guy on the show. Glad to see Darin is gone. He would of been the reason I would not watch the show if I'd found it and not started on season 11 when he was already gone.

And he had to make his presence known by having his overhead lights on with nothing on the truck...What a putz.

A true restoration would have them. A performance rated bias ply tire was identified by having the red line. Same reason hot wheels adopted this for a performance diecast car meant for speed on the track.
