I can't believe this video is 10 years old already, I remember watching this over and over again senior year in high school learning this song. Damn we got old fast....
I always assumed triggers made life easier. Set up my new v-drum kit in my home studio and was reminded that triggered flubs are louder than usual. Precision is that much more important. This is so hard to do. So impressive!!!!
Cameron i don't know if anyone tells you this but you are probably one of the best double-bass players in the world! and i will trample on anyone's face who disagrees.
please please please do behold next, im begging you lol. you are one of my favorite drummer in this style of music. your a beast man. you get better and better every cd. id love so se you play that song the foot pattern on the break down is tricky as hell...let alone any song you guys got hahaa
you being one of the few musicians who has totally changed my approach to listening/writing music, this is fucking sick. im so glad that in this day and age, you guys are signed to a label that allows you to post videos like this
Love these style od videos. Please record more Cameron. I love born of osiris and the dact that you all smoke weed. I smoke a ton and BoO is definitely my favorite band to smoke to. Keep it up!
The ironic thing is he's been their drummer since before they were even called Born of Osiris, Cameron didn't put the word cover in the title of the video because it actually is his song! lol
All I can say is he's an excellent composer and an amazing player. The unusual way that he moves isn't related/not deny that. I'm covering this song and I assure is not easy to get it beat by beat. By your comment I suppose you cannot cover this song. You simply aren't concious of what this involves. Prove otherwise
I posted this on facebook too, but I thought I'd put it here because I don't know what you look at more... I'd really like to know how your electric kit's dimensions and everything like resonance what the actual drum sound is made out of. I have a roland td-20 and I just can't make a good kit. I heard this and if that's what your kit sounds like then I'd love to know how you made it. I know it would take a while, so if you don't want to, don't sweat it. Great job on the new CD too.
This is the TD-9KX2 correct? How is it in terms of shit not falling apart? Looks like it holds up pretty well. Hah I'm looking into investing in something roland wise.
Bro I'm a drummer myself and music is my passion. I love all of your work. Are there any tips you can give me on how i can really improve as a drummer, whether its info on footwork/wristwork/etc. =]
What instrument is that snare and it's settings? I have the same TD-9 brain and I'm having a little trouble getting a good snare sound, and your snare is just perfect.
There is a reason no one can accurately cover Born Of Osiris. Its because no one has that kind of skill. Cameron has genes that surpass all other humans.
@itscalledfutbol16 i read this comment at the beginning of the video, but i thought it was just for some sick mcnasty drum fill he does...so i resisted clicking it and thought i'd watch it out of video context... Then when it happened i literally said that exact phrase without thinking..
I can't believe this video is 10 years old already, I remember watching this over and over again senior year in high school learning this song. Damn we got old fast....
I still come back to this in 2019 because it is fucking phenomenal. The precision is something all drummers should work towards!
It's like every part of his body has it's own mind. Fraking genius.
Mike Abraham then you realize it’s the collective consciousness of one mind 👌

I wish everyone understood this
Cameron i don't know if anyone tells you this but you are probably one of the best double-bass players in the world! and i will trample on anyone's face who disagrees.

Sick vid man, you are one of my favorite drummers. Keep up the good work, your guys music is one of the few things that keeps me going. \m/
you being one of the few musicians who has totally changed my approach to listening/writing music, this is fucking sick. im so glad that in this day and age, you guys are signed to a label that allows you to post videos like this
wow, that was cool i like the way you hit the crash with your left hand on those off time hits, soo fluent
@Vossajex Accents don't change a time signature though, it's still in 4/4.
You are my favourite drummer :)
his double bass is ON POINT. jeez
Love these style od videos. Please record more Cameron. I love born of osiris and the dact that you all smoke weed. I smoke a ton and BoO is definitely my favorite band to smoke to. Keep it up!

WE NEED BEHOLD. SO ALL FELLOW FANS CAN BEHOLD THE INCREDIBLE CAMERON.
@metalliberator The majority is in 8/8 and the accented beats are different in 8/8.
sick drummer...sick band....nuff said.
The ironic thing is he's been their drummer since before they were even called Born of Osiris, Cameron didn't put the word cover in the title of the video because it actually is his song! lol
That is the juiciest snare and bass!
@TheOzzyT no that is really Cameron from Born of Osiris.
I have that same kit. Nice drummin bro
@jakubzor

@JonathanFuentes91
oh i thought they programmed catch 33 entirely and haake learned it and cold perform it live, but never actually recorded it

@jman1951 did you know that this accauly is the drummer for born of osiris....
1:50 holy shit!! this is so fast!
All I can say is he's an excellent composer and an amazing player. The unusual way that he moves isn't related/not deny that. I'm covering this song and I assure is not easy to get it beat by beat. @CHAOTIKProject So it's a bar of 4/4 with accent on 3, then a bar of 4/4 with accents on 1 and 4?
Or just 8/8 with the accent on 3, 5 and 8.
I posted this on facebook too, but I thought I'd put it here because I don't know what you look at more...

@itscalledfutbol16 I love whatever those things are called sound soo dope.
What sounds are using, are the off the td9?
That groove tho
I was just thinking the same thing as I saw your comment, the drum work on that song is fucking mental.
cameron is a monster in his fucking throne!
This is the TD-9KX2 correct? How is it in terms of shit not falling apart? Looks like it holds up pretty well. Hah I'm looking into investing in something roland wise.
2:27 dat arm switch
@brenhalver Think of it more as a play-along than a cover.

LOL 1:50 the way he has to hit the cymbal when hes doing the 32nd notes
THE LAST STRAW NEXT PLEASE!!

I'm surprised you're still here. You're definitely committed, that's for sure.
You Should So Singularity Next, That Song Is Sick.
@MrHeavymetaldrums Probably using superior drummer with the metal foundry expansion, using Tomas Haake's kit as the preset.
@jakubzor haha no he used his normal set. like no one uses electric to record
Lol at all the people like, "WHY IS THIS COVER SO GOOD?"
what settings are you using on your td-9?
Would you be willing to cover "regenerate?"
im here 10 years later to check the same thing!! i remember watching this so much back in the day. time flies.
What drum set is that? exacly
"No description Available"...DAMN RIGHT
whats his natural foot technique?????
There is a reason no one can accurately cover Born Of Osiris. Its because no one has that kind of skill. Cameron has genes that surpass all other humans.
@sk8arobby1232 I dunno man I bet he could play it live if he was in the band. O WAIT.
@Vossajex because the song is in 4/4
agreed! pls cam put up a vid of follow the signs?
this cover is awsome!
Anybody know how he got those sweet ass sounds on his td-9?
@ArtFormTV you know what trolling is right?
so amazingly tight! won't you please upload "Follow the Signs"?
Tama Iron Cobras?
I hope "Follow The Signs Next" \m/
Why is the metronome in 4/4? :/
Im Sure everyone agrees these 3 must be done. Last Straw, Behold, and Regenerate. :)

The bass drum sounds like a fucking machine gun at points lol
@itscalledfutbol16 i read this comment at the beginning of the video, but i thought it was just for some sick mcnasty drum fill he does...so i resisted clicking it and thought i'd watch it out of video context... Then when it happened i literally said that exact phrase without thinking..
