Delay on takeoff likely due to FAA's EDCT Expected Departure Clearance Time. So, those other aircraft departing before weren't affected. The EDCT depends on the file route, destination and traffic saturation at both en route and arrival. [ATCS also Traffic Management ZAB/ZDV retired]
Those are General Electric CF6-80E1 twin turbofans. The Boeing 767 and 747-400 also use those engines. I’m not certain that those were the engines, but I am pretty sure they would have been.
Well that sucked. I love aviation, been in it for 36 years. I found this odd, having to let what 10 other aircrafts depart off from a closer taxiway when it clearly your aircraft sat at it's runway intersection for 15 minutes or so? Saying that it was hard to see much of the runway and aircraft on the roll due to the glare from the lighting.. Apart from that it was ok...
Agreed. It's unfortunate that the glare from the window can cause such a disruption in the video quality. I have found it difficult to film dusk/evening departures for some time now. I am currently looking for solutions but have yet to found a good one.
@@mjaviation17 Ya tuff one to fix.. It was the lighting off the terminal building that effected the clarity of the vid. I like what your doing just the same.. I spent many years in the cockpit on mostly 737's as an employee leaving my seat in the cabin for another passenger so I had a great view of everything...
YOU NEED TO BE PATIENTLY WITH THE AIRPLANE 🛬 WAIT TO GET THE OK TO ROLL DOWN THE RUNWAY OF ATC 🆗. DONT WORRY ABOUT THE SITUATION OF THE WAIT TILL THE CREW GETS TO GO.
Overwing/Behind the wing but not to far back and not to far forward are the best places to sit in my opinion
on the curvy wings like the 787 or a350 the back can be fun too
Wonderful video of Delta A330 take off out of Atlanta
Great video. Interesting to see the flaps raise from CONF2 to CONF1

The start up noises stood out impressively. What engines propelled this flight?
PW 4000 I think
General Electric CF6

This A330 is powered by PW engines.

What is the hydraulic pumps on the Airbus a330
Nice video!! Very interesting! a also a mistake about the Title! It’s spelled “Taxi” not “taki”, you wrote “taki”
Oh thanks!
awesome footage!
You could literally say they made your plane wait so long, the sun literally went down before you could take off! lol
I know, right?
That’s Atlanta for you. They back up incredibly. Might also be the fault of dispatch if you leave too early.

I guess this A330 uses the PW engines as I hear them ❤
