Fantastic video as always, strange to see a 222 on this line
Uttoxeter Races to provide extra capacity
Yes it is strange but seems to be more regular nowadays, as they are used if no other 15x units are available.
Strange
yep. a 222 doing the Crewe-Derby route is strange
Great video,enjoyed it 👏
The Pendolinos look bare, I'm guessing that's because this was either just a few days after Virgin lost the West Coast franchise or it was a few days before in preparation for the transfer to Avanti
Cool! Do the staff there allow us just to train spot on the platform despite of covid?
I know a station if you get a EMR to Crewe when it says we are now approaching Longport get off the trains and record some trains mainly they don’t stop at the station
Great video from Stoke thanks
Meridians are so rare now through Stoke
Didn’t think EMR went to Stoke?
tomtoon2014 Derby-Crewe trains go through Stoke, but it’s normally a 153
Cactus732 bit of an upgrade then!
@@Cactus732 yeah i sometimes get EMT now EMR to Crewe and Virgin back again
@@tomtoon2014 they are limited service from st pancras
@@bxcsf9408 except there are no service from london st pancras to crewe at all with EMR. Its Derby-Crewe.
obviously this line only uses 15x units but if there are no units available or if there are special events a 222 is used instead.
I am in a wheelchair that I can get about in. Could I get on a train with it. It is not a motorized scooter
there are some size limits on the TOC websites, but in most cases yes. You may find the new Greater Anglia Class 745s and 755s (on the London to Norwich and rural services) interesting as they have level access to platforms and a little horizontal ramp that closes the gap between the train and the platform!
