- Because my "Planet Minecraft Download Instructions!" video was getting so much attention, and there were many confused, I've created yet another instructional video!!! Hope you guys enjoy and I really hope this clarifies anything not discussed in the last video! Make sure to comment questions if you have any at all and I will answer as soon as I see them!!!!

thanks a lot! to anyone with struggling since theirs isn't zip but rar, personally I just pressed ''extract to ____'' and it turned into a folder. Then you just continue like its showed in the video :)

I have one question... I downloaded a world for 1.8.9 and in the extracted folder there is no advancements folder. Is that supposed to be like that or what else?
Some worlds might have advancements and some may not. Depends on the purpose who uploaded the map!

for me it said extract files, and i had to created a new folder manually, it did the same thing that you did though. this video helped me alot so thanks!

it works on some data packs but not all from what i am doing. doesnt take me to media file and when i extract the .zip file it doesnt do anything but copy the same file i extracted
Yeah it's always a bit complex because it really depends on the user who uploaded it and how they uploaded it. If you would like you could comment a link to what you're trying to download and I could help ya out!

When I do this some maps won't show on minecraft even if I play on the intended minecraft edition for the map

I know you aren’t doing vids on this rn, but when I downloaded the map, it didn’t give me a zip folder. Or even a folder with things in it. Does that mean that I can’t download the world?

Usually this is due to the map being older and you playing it in a newer version. If you have the link to the download I can check it out and help you out much more 😁

Unfortunately not really. That means that it was saved using world edit. So if you want to get the world save, you will have to download the mod. Sorry MAg!

when i extracted the rar file to a zip folder, i then extracted all and inside the extracted folder with no zip was the rar file again. help please

the map i want says it's on 1.16.5 but when i opened up that version in my installations, it still won't show up in my worlds list...
Make sure when you click into the folder you see things like playerdata and stuff like that

Weird I did all of that yet its still not there? Again it might possibly be bc the version 1.15.2 isn't supported

so i did all the steps and the map is showing in my files but when i open minecraft its not there only my old worlds are there

Hey I put in a world but it didn’t tell me the version but i keep checking and it’s in my saves but when i go in the world isn’t there.

I have a problem!
How do I put a 1.11.2 map in the minecraft 1.112 world? I did everything that should’ve been right if I wanted to download it for 1.19.2, but what if I wanted to download a different version map that doesn’t support 1.19.2?
So you can update older versions to newer versions, but not the other way around. All you have to do is play the map you want to for example put 8n thr 1.11.2 maps and then play in 1.19. When you click on the world it shoulddddd upgrade it but since it's such a big version change it could mess it up

Okay! So what you do is once extracting the file, you'll go into %appdata% You'll click into .minecraft and then into saves. Click the save file (world name) you want the datapack to be on. Then, click into datapacks. From there, you put the extracted folder into the datapacks folder and you're set!!

I tried to follow your tutorial so I could download "Mine - Your Own Business for Minecraft 1.17.1" but the world isn't showing up at all when I put it into the save folder :(

That depends on who did the download. I'd recommend typing in this command /tp @p ~ ~90 ~ and if that doesn't work /tp @p 0 90 0

You'll go into your settings tab by pressing escape key and there should be a setting saying open to LAN. Press on that and click okay and then you type this command to put yourself in creative
/gamemode creative
I tried this last night and it worked and I had the map! But now the next day the map is gone, so I tried again and it’s not working anymore. Any ideas?
Usually it could be playing in the wrong version? And there's always a possibility you could've deleted it by chance? Those are my two ideas
I put it into the saves folder but it’s not showing up.
That's probably due to the version you're playing in and the version of the map. Make sure you're playing in the correct one

@@yomikester238 now I think there's this glitch where basically I can see through the top layer of blocks that are a bit away from me and changes the colours of bl0ocks to a weird mish mash of blue, yellow and purple texture and it really gets in the way
and the only way I have found of stopping it for like 20 mins or 40 is by either turning 3D anaglyph on and then off or changing language to something then back to english

How do I put a schematic (.schem) on my Minecraft. ( all the schematics from planet Minecraft are (.Schem) I need help please 🥺
The only way i know of using schematics is to actually use a mod called World Edit!! Using that mad you can convert schematics into actual builds!!!
Just let me know if you'd like some links on how to download the mod and how to use schematics and ill send you some videos!

When I was trying to download it, it took me to Adfly(Ik that it is on Adfly so they can get some money) but i’m on PC so idk what to do on Adfly with PC i’ve done it on phone but not PC before
So basically you just need to wait five seconds I believe is the time and then press skip ad. After that it should take you to the download. Let me know if that works and if not could you provide the link?

@@marzy371 I looked into it for you Sunshine! Unfortunately, if you look at the title of the map, it was changed to "DISCONTINUED" which means that that particular download link doesn't work anymore. There might be another place to download it, but I'm not sure where. Message the creator and hopefully he'll respond!

I am not sure if you still answer questions but, like some peoples situations my world whenever I leave it in the mc save file it doesn't show up after launching minecraft.
Absolutely still answer questions hahaha. But I'll counter you with some of mine. Is it an older world but you're playing with a newer version possibly? Are you on an Apple Product or Microsoft? And what kind of Minecraft are you playing i.e (Java, Bedrock, PE, etc)
I am on Java, Microsoft and I am definitely on windows 10. It’s probably because of the version but I am questioning where they list the version.
Depends on where you download it from. Some sites don't require you to list what version they uploaded the world. You should look for the date that it was published and compare that to what version of Minecraft it was when it was released. I've done this before and it's definitely annoying but works

Sometimes the advancements won't show unless you actually achieve one first. The easiest one to get is to mine cobblestone

Could be. There's another way to open the Minecraft folder. If you go to the resource packs tab there should be an open folders option. If you press that you should be able to navigate and find the right tab!

Sometimes the uploader doesn't give a download option. This Could be the case. Do you have the link?

Gotcha. So what you will do is first visit this website here

You're gonna then click "Select File" on the website. Next you'll choose the files you just downloaded titled "Inferno438 - White House." Then press the "Convert" button on the website I sent you a link to. After it's converted and processed you can press the download button!! From there it should give you a ZIP file!! Now follow my tutorial and play in version 1.5.2!!

The map that i want from planet mc brings me to a site called mega and idek if i should be there but its what the link brings me to, to download it

@@kailixsleek360 No problem! So from what I've seen it does look pretty safe. You just have to press the download button. If there's anything inside the folder other than the world save simply deleting it would be a good idea. But I've done my research and it looks okay!

It sounds like you might be using a different type of computer. Are you using an Apple product or a Microsoft? Java or Bedrock?

That should just mean you're using WinRAR I believe!! Which you totally still should be able to right click although it may ask you to extract all with WinRAR! :)

@@iposhi2Videos Okay. Have you tried downloading winRAR? This is another way people can extract files. Typically used for Macs but it does work for Windows too
How do you do it safely when it goes through to adfly?
The safest way when it goes through adfly is to wait for the ad to play through. Then I think there should be a skip button. It's been a while since I've used adfly though so let me know if this helps!!

So yeah there is no possible way to download it if the creator doesn't allow it. It says that he said he wasn't sure about actually putting a world download. So, the only way to get that is to comment and ask him for it. I wish I could help more but that's up to the creator!

what if the map your trying to download is .bin
I wouldn't trust that source. A .bin file is a binary file and there's no reason a Minecraft map should be encoded in binary? Do you by chance have a link to the file?

@@coldarc_ Okay so the ones with advancements and data packs are the typical world file. Try to not import the map actually and just stick the download directly into the world saves folder. If that doesn't work create a new folder and stick all the datapacks and advancements into the new folder. Then, stick the new folder into world saves!
