I like the app. I try to remain open minded and this is much better than i expected it. I downloaded it a long time ago but i can definitely see they have made a tone of updates and made it significantly more powerful. many options for ways to get into the app . I dont know that this would be my primary app to make music in but like many other apps , this one can definitely be used for inspiration.. great job!!!

With some YT comments it's like in the AB forum, the die-hard Launchpad users compare it to Remix Live and don't want to believe that Ampify is just resting on its laurels and has become a bit lazy. Remix Live is so much more capable and by the way does have the smoother workflow. I currently use it mainly to spice up my jingles, trailers and songs live on the fly at certain points to give them the final touch, so to speak the icing on the cake. Super nice overview, excellent job and well done, Vortex!
@@HotStrange Just so there's no misunderstanding, I've been a big fan of launchpad since the beginning. And I agree, the Launchpad sound packs appeal to me more as well. However, this is not a decisive criterion for me because I work more with my own loops anyway and ultimately, if necessary for a project, everything from Launchpad and Blocs Wave can also be transferred to Remix Live. Admittedly with a certain effort that I sometimes also operate for JammPro.
Great point. Ampify Launchpad probably competes with its parent Focusrite/Novation for funding more development. Launchpad is more a performance tool that helps sell Novation Launchpad devices, whereas Remix Live is device agnostic and trying to be a DAW.

Yah it seems this app is under the radar even though their youtube channel has like 50k subs! So when they came to me to check out their app I'm like wow this is amazing can't believe no one's talking about it let's get the word out. Blocs wave is also extremely good :)
This has a ton more features than launchpad including an unmix feature, a DAW-like song mode, ability to launch both MIDI sequences and Audio clips, detailed sequencer, Live-Set mode, extraordinary sample browser and a ton more FX.
As Vortex pointed out, it's not really 'exactly the same' but rather a consistent evolution of Launchpad with a lot of useful features that LP should have had years ago.
I’m kind of in the same boat as Lmayes. “I try to remain open-minded” I foresee myself importing a whole lot with something like this but I do appreciate the UI and Launchpad integration. 🕹

Hi, I looked at Remix Live yesterday on the iPad and today I also bought it for the desktop / Mac. Is it possible to open a project that I create on the iPad in the desktop application? Or to open a desktop project on the iPad? And if so, how does that work? Because there is somehow no account through which the apps could recognize that. Thank you Toby

For some reason my comments are not working 😢 I have been looking for a new music app for my 13yr old son to get him away from TikTok scrolling. He uses Launchpad but is now finding it quite limited. I also looked at Beatmaker 3 but feel this may be just a bit advanced for him ATM. This is where LiveRemix could fit the gap perfectly as it has a similar feel to LP, but with many of the features of BM3. Great video of the app BTW, it explained a lot.

It needs a pre count….. start recording in the middle of a song is not cool. I’ve noticed you had the same trouble too. Can you relay that message to them please. I sent them emails myself…. But not sure if they listening.
Looks Awesome! I try to buy new music apps whenever I have some extra fund$ to do so. I was able to get Cubasis 3 when It went on sale and I love it. Thank you for all the tutorial’s that you have done on that app. They have cut the learning curve out and have saved me a great amount of time in the process. @@MobileMusicPro have you tried drambo 2.0 update? HUGE update! It is easy once it clicks, doesn't take long. I recommend the manual and Ben Richards videos.

Hey Enrique! Thanks for the kind words :) Unfortunately with Cubasis you have a set BPM for entire project, however you can do things like stretching midi and audio either shorter or longer in order to achieve a slower or faster bpm speed in certain parts of a song.

It’s exactly the same as Launchpad which has been around forever and I liked very much. This seems to have more facilities ,,,looks fun.
This has a ton more features than launchpad including an unmix feature, a DAW-like song mode, ability to launch both MIDI sequences and Audio clips, detailed sequencer, Live-Set mode, extraordinary sample browser and a ton more FX.

@@addison4206 For iPad? I really mainly use 3 DAWs: Beatmaker 3, Cubasis, Garageband. Mostly Beatmaker 3. Occassionally Cubasis. Rarely Gargeband. LOL
