Chenab Railway Bridge Inside Out | World's Highest Rail Bridge | Tour before track laying | J&K

The Chenab Rail Bridge is a steel and concrete arch bridge between Bakkal and Kauri in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The bridge spans the Chenab River at a height of 359 m (1,178 ft) above the river, making it the world's highest rail bridge. In November 2017, the base supports were declared completed allowing for the start of the construction of the main arch. The bridge was fully completed and was inaugurated in August 2022.

Chenab in known as Chandrabhaga in Himachal and comprises of two rivers Chandra which originates from Chandertal in Lahul Spiti district and Bhaga which originates from Suraj Tal also in Lahul & Spiti district of Himachal.These two joins at Tandi close to district Headquarters of the district, Thereafter it is known as Chandrabhaga.In Punjab it is known as Chenab.It is going to be operational by next year।
