Doing what we do
I was a police officer in Hong Kong and worked with our fire department many of times, and one thing I can say is that the JFRD works as efficient as our firefighters. Team work, good communications and swift action. This is what training looks like. Keep it up, you make the world a safer place, and scarier times seem less terrifying.
We appreciate that you recognize this....thanks for watching!

Strong Work!!! Glad to see another agency uses Hi Lift farm jacks, they will get you out of a mess quick and easy low tech.
I watched a recovery crew use a Hi Lift to raise the top of a car that had barrel rolled & was crunched down on top of the driver. These tools are a must for a lot of heavy recoveries.

Welcome to Thailand Great channel firefighters heroes on and all
Thank you for your kind words.
They hit that pool hard. Was there any talk about peeling the roof back / off for patient access? I feel like this move is often not done even though it can be accomplished fairly quickly.
We pull roofs most of the time...the dash was the issue here
I hope they make a smooth full recovery 🙏
we do too
Unbelievable, that SUV was split right down the middle. Tough pole.
It was crazy all right
It's hard to imagine the passenger going through the floorboard. Wow!
I’m so glad to see a charged line standing by. So many companies skip this…. Great hustle!
It is extremely important for all involved.

Magnificent teamwork. Great job all.
Agreed
@ 1:20 what is the purpose / use of those 5 pieces of wood strapped together? I know its some sort of cribbing but how or what is it used for exactly?
That is used for when we do a "dash lift" it stabilizes the high lift jack that is placed on the hook of the vehicle.

Good job all the way around, having a charged line minimizes the possibility of a ignition fire. Kudos to JVRD.
That is standard procedure for our crews at an extrication.
What's the logistics behind recording these videos for TH-cam?
I assume theres a lot of rules and regulations you must follow, but what kind of camera's can withstand the heat of a fire? I have seen a few POV videos on this app and I've always wondered about it.
I just found this channel and it's amazing. The videos are as quality as the rescues. I wish you all the best.
We do not record within the fire...but get as close as possible to give you a new perspective.

I've never seen a person partially ejected through the BOTTOM of a car before. Crazy stuff !
We don't think that many have.
So they basically disassembled the car from around them. Glad to have such awesome personnel.
That about sums it up
How did the accident happen
the car hit the pole.
@@thejfrd2490
What caused the crash. The hitting the pole part is obvious. Did the steering malfunction
@@ruthanneluvsvacuuming6653 we are the fire department...we treat the injured and eliminate any hazards...the sheriff's office investigates the why...maybe you can reach out to them about that.

Looks like we've got trouble. Right here in River City,
Trouble everywhere my friend
From the UK, retired Ff, a very complicated extrication, would it have been easier to have removed the roof to give you more room and better access for the medics to monitor the casualties ?
I'm not knocking you guys , you did a great job but here in the UK, we are always looking at ways for better access to the casualty for when the medics need to step in to monitor before extraction onto the trolley.
I am not sure why they did not remove the roof...we normally do...good point
@@thejfrd2490 Thank you for replying, at the end of the day, you guys removed the casualties safely.
@@cornelfrancis7615 that is the bottom line!
Jeepers! How friggen fast were they going? That car came off it's rear wheels & had to be almost standing on it's bumper when it hit to get a dent like it has in the front.
Glad no other cars were hit
@@thejfrd2490 No kidding! Absolutely sad for these 2, but almost a miracle, if nothing else remarkable that no other vehicles were hit.

Why is a fire tower ladder called?
What do you mean?
❤ love you Nick seysee
thanks
Scott, FYI, This is too typical with speed and loss of control. It took all of these resources to remove two trapped victems recently in Jacksonville. For these two occupants I don't have a lot of sympathy, but that young fourth grader in a "crosswalk", he was not expecting that. I really have little sypathy for the car operator. I can tell you though, Emergency Svcs. become emotionaly involved as soon as dispatch informs them there's s child involved. I will never forget being dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving M 25 when an automobile struck an older model van with mom / dad and eight children. The other operator was under the influence of alcohol. We had to extracate all eight children. That was nearly ten years ago, yet it seems like yesterday.
That's why I suggested asking prayers for the first responders to the recent accident. Hopefully the County has Crisis Intervention for the police, rescue and ambulance personnel. They'll need it! Adults do cry😢
Roger
Do you know the posted speed on that stretch of road? How fast do you think that fool was traveling? I'm guessing 60 +
@ropinhorseman924 how do you even know what transpired here...I believe that you are making a bunch of assumptions that are not fair to those involved.

@@thejfrd2490 No, but I suspect you do as well as the posted speed since your channel is, you know, "thejrfd2490" and all. My question was a reply to your description. Do you not wish to say?
