That horse sculpture was breathtaking! I agree with you that everything is beautiful 💞 It's amazing how small y'all looked compared with the Kelpies! Thank you for sharing your adventure with us ☺💞
Heather we really appreciate your comments. It was truly amazing, the park and the Kelpies were so beautiful and we had those wonderful blue skies. Thanks for watching, have a great week 😁 Trev
Kelpies park looks nice for a stroll, the horses heads are stunning. The Falkirk wheel is a great bit of engineering on a huge scale. Thanks for taking us around 🙂
It was a lovely day out Martin. Really enjoyed both. Thanks for watching 😁 Trev
Very nice attractions thanks for sharing and lovely weather 🌞🌞have a great weekend 👍😎🍁🍁

Hi Trev & Sue enjoyable video loved the Kelpies nice weather to 👍😎
Thanks Liz beautiful blue skies 😁 Trev n Sue
Glad you had a nice quiet day for it Trev. Nice to see the Kelpies close up and from a different angle from the M9 and i usually see them in the dark. But they change the colours of them daily. Definitely going to take the family there now 👍🏴. We have done the Falkirk wheel 👍a great bit off engineering . Must get a trip on it one day that would be different .
Thanks for sharing Alan
Thanks Alan. Kelpies were on Sue’s wish list and I was determined for her to see them. We were so lucky with the sunshine too. Thanks for your comments 👍🏻😉 Trev
What a cracking day you had for the kelpies
Beautiful blue skies were amazing 😉Trev
Hi Trev, really enjoyed this episode, the Kelpies looked stunning against the blue sky backdrop. Both these places are on my to do list, thanks for sharing 👍
We had a lovely day in Falkirk, thanks for watching 😁 Trev
Hi T&S. Lovely place and a great park. Juliet has always wanted to see the Kelpies. Thanks for this one. P&J👍🙂
Beautiful in the sunshine and apparently at night. We have a plan to return at night in December 👍🏻👍🏻😃😃 thanks for watching 😉 Trev
Really pretty and tidy park that. Pretty amazing statues! Love canal's and locks.
It was a beautiful day and Sue really wanted to go to see the Kelpies. The parks were amazing and on a Thursday there was very few people around 🙂 Trev
Been past the Kelpies on the road but never stopped to see them. Been to the Wheel a few times, even went up it once.. fun.. glad the sun came out for you at last. :-) Sorry still playing catch up.. x
Thanks Lindsay, we had a weekend at home but out in the van again very very soon 😄👍🏻 Trev
Wow those kelpies. Loving this series trev.
Ramsey Firefly Thanks so much. We really appreciate your positive comments. We are almost at the end of the series now but we have much more to come in 2019 even though summer is ending. Thanks for watching 😁👍🏻 Trev n Sue
Another great video, and perfect sightseeing weather at last! We stopped in the exact same place to see the Wheel, but all car parks were full at the Kelpies, so that's still on our to-do list. We were also there late September and the weekend weather was unusually fabulous 😎🍦😎... so most of Falkirk seemed to be out in the park that day - it was absolutely heaving! Really enjoyed, and would definitely recommend, a visit to the wheel. 😊
Thanks for your lovely comments they really mean a lot to us and make TH-cam worthwhile. We would like to see the Kelpies in the dark so watch this space we have a plan 👍🏻😁😁 Trev
Wow! Amazing! Thanks 😊
We had an amazing day 😁 Trev
Enjoyed that, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Graeme, it was a special day for us too and very enjoyable 😁 Trev
Everywhere you have been on your latest journey has just been so lovely! Thanks for taking us along Trev and Sue!
Glad you enjoyed it Susan. We have more nice trips coming up too. Thanks for following our adventures 😁👍🏻 Trev n Sue
The Kelpies are amazing, aren’t they? We were there last year and thought they were magnificent! We didn’t get to see however the Falkirk Wheel, so it’s nice to see your filming of it! Will definitely see it the next time we’re up there! Thanks for sharing😎👍
Thank you, the wheel is worth a look. We spent a good 2 or 3 hours there just chilling with coffee and cake in the cafe. The engineering is staggering on both projects though 😁 Thanks for watching 👍🏻 Trev
We loved the Kelpies when we visited & on another trip we visited the Falkirk lift but it was so crowded we didn't stop for long.
We were so lucky John, neither were particularly busy so we got a good look around. Thanks for supporting us. 😁👍🏻 Trev n Sue
Amazing
Thank you, it was a great day out in Falkirk 😃🚐 Trev
The Kelpies are amazing, I didn't realize how huge they were from just seeing pictures. Thank you so much for sharing :o)
They were fabulous up close. The pictures only start to show the size and shape but up close they have a very special something 😁 Thanks again for watching 😁 Trev x
A tip : watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Alfonso Carlos Yea, been using flixzone for months myself :D
Looks really nice, the Kelpies Park, we are always driving past. We'll have to stop next time.
Loads of space for Poppy to have fun. The visitor centre is not dog friendly but we had a lovely day so walking and sitting on the park was beautiful 🙂 Thanks for watching 😄👍🏻 Trev
Poshcats Camping I’ll take you when we are at Edinburgh
The same sculptor has an angel on the M80 at Cumbernauld and a horse on M8 at Bailleston
And soon to have a huge bear on A1 at Dunbar
Thanks for the info Bob. We loved this day in Falkirk and will remember it always 👍🏻😄 Trev
Still catching up after a longer donder to Arran, you took the weather home with you LOL

Hi Trev And Sue, great video, wow the Kelpies are really life like. Nice that they are by the canal so you can view the narrow boats as well. The Falkirk wheel is an amazing structure , only ever seen it in action on the tv. Thank you for filming it. Did you go on a boat trip? I wonder whether you had a coffee and may be some cake to finish off the visit. I know I would have to. Looking forward to your next video, thank you x
julie yes we had coffee and Scottish Shortbread next to the canal and the Kelpies but I don’t always film us eating or you may think that’s all we do 😂😂😂 watch out for another Kelpies visit in December after dark 👍🏻 Trev
I am a Bairn (and a Dad to a BT 😀)
Thanks for watching 😁 Trev
Youve shamed me into going for a visit the next time I’m there. My home town and I’ve never been to either the Kelpies or Wheel.
Haha... we enjoyed your town thank you. There were a lot of folks, mostly tourists like us, spending their money and having a lovely day. Nothing we didn’t like about Falkirk, very friendly place 😊 Trev
What's the story behind the Kelpies?
The horses represent the working heavy horses used on the canals in Scotland in the late 18th and early 19th century. The enormous sculptures are a symbol of the drive to regenerate the industrial areas attracting visitors from all over the world. That’s what I remember from the visitor centre I think 😊 Trev
If you get an airal photo it's a horse shoe
Wow I never knew that. We loved it there and will go back for another visit 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev
