- Two WWII fighter planes few over the home of U.K. veteran Tom Moore, who turned 100 years old on April 30. Moore, who prefers to be known as "Captain Tom," caught the attention of people all over the world when his record-breaking charity walk in his garden raised tens of millions of dollars to fight the coronavirus. Charlie D'Agata visited the veteran's hometown of Bedford.

He is 100 years old and is in hospital because he had been getting treated at home for 2 weeks due to pneumonia and was tested for covid the test was he had symptoms which are the same symptoms as pneumonia. So NOT in hospital due to covid. Sadly suffering from pneumonia. Hope he gets better soon.

Why isn't the reason why he raised the money even mentioned? I find that to be really disrespectful. He raised the money to support the NHS. Why would this broadcast omit that crucial detail? Makes me wonder. He wanted to raise money as a thank you for the NHS staff who helped him with treatment for a broken hip and cancer. I just think that people should know the truth.
