I love harmony bloom!!! It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to music generation tools, and I avoid anything labeled "AI" like the plague, and HB is super impressive! I own a dozen other generators, tools, music theory assistants, etc, but none are as musical and expressive as this.
Found an odd thing using this with a Squarp Pyramid. Where HB sends a note off just before the note on message the pyramid take's that as the note off straight away so it cuts the note off early. Sometimes it slips through and sounds out for the set note duration but its totally random. I was hoping to capture the midi events straight into a track, I'd have to go in after and lengthen all the notes manually which is a bit of a faff. I'll try it on a Akai Force i have here and see what that does, midi's screwed up on that anyway, bizarrely, but thats Akai's coding for you... I'm finding could do with a bit more than 10 secs on the note duration setting, for slow drone type pad sounds which evolve over time which can be longer than 10 secs when held in sustain. Its a great app though, really encourages experimentation. Been playing with it for hours which will probably turn into days & weeks.
Hi, why is it that I can't put an instrument and the Harmony Bloom on a track in the DAW and that the Harmony Bloom doesn't generate a MIDI signal on the track?
Not all DAWs accept this way of working, if you need to know how to do the routing depending on the DAW you have, you will find information at marionietoworld.com/index.php/support/

I bought it for ipad, good stuff is midi export and it will certainly finish in the daw soon 👍
