You want recommendations, try “Oblivion “, “Alone”, “Shallow” or one of her songs from the show “Beste Zangers “. Her duet performance of “Phantom of the Opera” with Henk Poort is excellent.
It can take a while to sink in, but you've just heard not just a great, accomplished singer...but perhaps the greatest singer currently performing, in any genre. Floor is special. A generational talent.

Floor was in her studio in Sweden, while the band was in the Netherlands in their studio when this was recorded, due to the fact that Floor was not allowed to travel because she had her gall bladder removed a fortnight prior to this show; and her name is Floor Jansen, is Dutch and she is the singer of the band Nightwish from Finland which is a symphonic metal band! She can do any genre from classical to metal and everything in between, many people see her as the best female singer at this moment in time, you should listen to their concerts where she performes at this level for one and a half or two hours at her top level, so you aint seen nothing yet!

Queen Floor is known as a metal Goddess, but is capable of singing anything she wants perfectly. You should check out her singing Adagio or Oblivion. She also does a super cover of Shallow originally sung by Lady Gaga. Nice reaction.

She was still recovering from a galbladder surgery and was not able to fly to perform live. So this was done home with band not on site. Very well done. And being able to belt like that just coming out of surgery, amazing!

The song was Swedens contribution to Eurovison Song Contest 2012 and that song was performed by Swedsih singer Loreen - She won the entire competition. Floor is married to swedish drummer Hannes from Sabaton and lives in Sweden. This is her way of showing respect for her new motherland.

Floor was recvering from surgery when she performed this song from her home studio, due to C19 she wasn't able to travel to Ibiza. To be able to perform in this manner a week after surgery...well you're looking at the real life Wonder Woman...freaking mind blowing.

Floor did that from home with a link to the studio she just had her gall bladder removed a cpl of weeks before so couldn't travel to the show. You should do Beste Zangers 2019 to hear her sing more and in different languages. The first episode is really good the other singers don't really know her and get a bit of a shock when she sings.

Floor Jansen is the third and present singer of Symphonic Metal band 'Nightwish' and widely considered the best and most versatile female singer of our time, yet a undiscovered treasure for the broader audience. Sorry for Celine Dion, but is is true, as you also will conclude when you dive deeper in her career. As I am a Flooraholic from Utrecht, The Netherlands here is some background information on our Dutch Valkyrie Queen. She joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. My favourite song is 'Energize Me'. They made a very beautiful music video out of this. 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song, such as from full operatic to serious growls in seconds. The songs 'Disdain' and 'Wild Card' are good examples. September 2012 came the call from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the American Tour as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour ('Please learn the setlist in 48 hours'). The lyrics of the songs of Nightwish are very poetic and the music as a whole is challenging, but Floor pulled it off and she stayed for the whole world tour, culminating in the iconic Wacken 2013 Open Air festival. It was obvious that the match Nightwish and Floor Jansen was made in Walhalla, so she became a permanent member of the band in 2013 as the relationship with Annette and the band was strained even before she became ill. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp' for a couple of years, but it became clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so Revamp disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died' is a must see. Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. There are numerous guest appearances with other bands to find on TH-cam. To see how to get a crowd of metalheads silenced and in awe, watch her featuring with the band 'Epica' and the song 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa'. And to see her in full opera mode watch her rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' from Puccini. As live concerts were cancelled and home isolation due to the Covid situation, Floor discovered TH-cam in the last year and uploaded many interesting videos on her channel. Mindblowing covers, chats with her idols and other singers, vocal masterclasses and so much more. Also her 'Fan Friday' videos are hilarious. Just unpack some of the presents she left there. Floorgasm alert! Floor is a high sensitive person, so peace and quiet is as important for her. Floor had gotten her gallbladder removed just a few weeks prior to this performance and was afraid she was not going to be able to attend this Beste Zangers Eurovision Competition as she accepted to represent her country, Netherlands, in it so they took the show to her. Because of her delicate recovering state and covid, they had to take precautions as well.
The Phantom was recorded in 2019 so there was a different setting altogether.

Jansen is said like Yahnsin. She is Dutch, but now lives in Sweden.
There are many other great singers but floor is above the rest because of her ability to master anything. I believe her to be the best singer of all time.The funny part is that I don't think there is anyone else even close. There just is not, nor has there ever been anyone like her.
