it's amazing how the moon's and earth's orbits are synchronized, how the same face of the moon (regardless of phase) is what is seen in the states, in the Philippines, at night, during the day, today, yesterday and a thousand years ago. Glad you're able to still enjoy the view despite your challenges.
Hi Dazel TV, nice meeting you here in YT. Your channel just pop-out on my wall.. I like watching the view.. Yes! Everything you mentioned about Iloilo I really Agree.. We are planning also to retired in Iloilo City… Thanks for all your the positive views about Iloilo City❤ Anyways, praying for your fast recovery. God bless you and your wife🙏.. New subscriber here..
Yay, told you about that green tea. Every time I have a friend going through radiation/chemo, I tell them about it. So glad you tried it.❤❤ Be well my friend.
Gino, I am disappointed to hear of your current unfortunate, situation, but am impress with the mental strength you are showing in dealing with it. Catching up with your videos, I see in Dazel's demeanor that she is trying to be strong for you. Your positive attitude is no doubt helping her to deal with the situation. I am surprised you would consider moving from the tranquility of Aklan Province, but whatever will help both of you with keeping a positive mindset will be the best decision. I wish you a fast recovery and only the best for you both in the future.
Thank you my friend. I considered even before I got sick to move near Iloilo City because of the medical care. I'll be 57 this year and just thought that as I got older, I will need to be close to a good hospital. I've been able to take good care of myself; no medical issues since I retired here 12 years ago. No maintenance medicine of any kind. Ran 5k every other day. Ate lots of fruits and vegetables. Just unfortunate that I got cancer. It is what it is. If Aklan had a good hospital; I would not even consider moving anywhere. An example is I will need radiation therapy; not available in Aklan province.
@@dazeltv1351 Yes, in short, "it is what it is." The most important thing is it was found and now you are getting treatment. You know the old saying, "Home is where you hang your hat." As long as you have Dazel at your side, you can make your home anywhere. I'll be rooting for you, Gino.
Hello. Ty for showing these retirement spots. I was in the Navy and visited olongapo. Olongapo seems a little rough compared to your towns you show. I would like to see Roxas too.❤
I'm looking at your video of the balcony across the Iloilo River and the Esplanades, with bikers riding, the early morning joggers, the Zumba dancers, boat paddlers, cars darting here and there, the palmtrees, the greenery and in the distance the high-rises, the malls and hotels. Looking at all these in your video, I felt like I was along the River Seine or along the Canal St. Martin in Paris , France,.
Now, I can imagine the river and canal in Paris, France. Thank you my friend. I am so happy to have the view from the balcony; just what I needed after my treatments. I just sit in the balcony every morning with my green tea for hours. Take care Armando.

Hello Ginno and Dazel...new subscriber here. I just spent 5 days in Iloilo city and agree with your comments. Thanks for the video and good luck with your treatment.
As with most waterways in PI I would not eat fish from that river, one thing nice about that place is a hours bus ride to ferry to the tourist beaches.
You almost have me convinced that Iloilo is the place to go. I’m still hoping that I can make the jump in about 4 years provided my current medical allows it. Hope you had a safe drive back, I’m sure the pups were happy to see you.
Ginno, I want to wish you the best of luck with your health. A couple of questions. First you said there weren't as many motorcycles there. Just curious, why do you think there are less there then other places? Secondly, why did you go to Iloilo Medical Center instead of Clark Medical Center? Tks
I think it is because public transportation is cheap and available in Iloilo City. Also, so many bicycle riders in the city. It is more expensive to live in the city; so local Filipinos that work in the area might not be able to afford a motorcycle. Dazel and I decided to get my treatment in Medical City Iloilo instead of Medical City Clark because we are closer to our house in Camella Aklan; 3 1/2 hour drive. I am looking at months of treatments; so it’s nice to have a break like this week and be in our house. Take our dogs for rides on Bumblebee and have our normal life in Aklan; even for just 9 days. I’ve seen nothing but hospitals the past 6 weeks; so nice to just walk in our subdivision and breath fresh air. I know I will be ready for the next rounds of chemo after this break.

No new update on the kidnapped American. I’m keeping my eye on the news. I will provide any update on my weekly livestream tomorrow at 9:30am Philippines time. The U.S. Embassy has always warned Americans not to go to Zamboanga del Norte, where he chose to live.
Hello guys I like your videos y’all seem to be good honest people praying for your treatment to go well thinking bout retire there if it possible to find a place to rent for no more than 300 a month u think that possible to find there
Rent is possible for $300 a month; but not in the condominium and apartment complexes by Iloilo river. You would have to live about 30 minutes away from the city proper; like the suburbs. Here’s my email: ginno1966@yahoo.com. I can send you information on what is available in Iloilo City.
Thank you for your response. Hope you won’t mind if I ask you another question? How are you withdrawing money from your US bank for your expenses in the Phils?
Yes, several kilos of shabu were seized in Iloilo a few days ago. Same as other cities with drug problems and squatter colonies. Tikal is the name of the game in Iloilo. Tee, Too ginapiko man gid
