Multimeter is a measuring instrument which can measures some important electrical and electronic parameters/quantities for examples :
AC Voltage, DC Voltage, AC Current, DC Current, Resistance, Temperature, Frequency, Capacitance, Circuit continuity,
Transistor Checking.

I describe the all functions of UNI-T model UT-55 Digital multimeter in Urdu/Hindi.
A multimeter is also known as DMM (Digital multimeter), AVO Meter (Ampere, volt ohm meter), VOM (Volt ohm meter) and DVOM (Digital volt ohm meter) and this is a highly accurate bench instrument which can be used to troubleshoot electrical problems in a wide array of industrial and household devices such as electronic equipment, motor controls,
domestic appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems.
In Analouge multimeter a moving pointer on a reading scale but in digital instrument reading are shown on a numeric display.
Multimeter was invented by Donald Macadie in after 1920s and he was from USA.
In Constructional aspect I divided Digital multimeter into three interface areas like display area, selection area (selector switch) and connecting area in which probs are connected.
I briefly explain how to use of multimeter or how to use avo meter, how to use digital multimeter to test battery
How to check amps using a multimeter, how to measure voltage using a multimeter, how to measure resistance using a multimeter
and each and every thing about digital multimeter.
