- Today it's time for me to show you my no terraforming island in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I've been working on it offline, hence its name 'Offline'. It's a no terraforming island, that is filled with lots of colorful farms & flowers. When building it, I basically just created whatever I felt inspired to! I hope you enjoy!

On my very first island I think I got very excited about the fact that I could do terraforming but in the end I found it to be very stressful because nothing seem to look right and I was starting to get very anxious that my island was not looking right so I decided to delete my island and start out fresh and this time I’m going to try and do no terraforming or as little as possible and I made sure that I’ve tried to choose the best island. The only thing is that you have to start out scratch with everything so I’ve been trying to go through the first stages quickly so that I can get to a stage where I can do a little bit more. i’m not quite sure what type of Island I’m going to turn it on to so as I am going round trying to get to the terraforming stage I’m kinda thinking how I would have things. i’m kind of wondering whether to go for the farming vibe and do like a maze. on my last island which turned out to be a disaster I was planning on going for the forest vibe but then it turned out to be a mixture because I wasn’t sure what the hell I was doing. i’m not necessarily wanting to get to terraforming stage obviously terraform or not 100% I will do a little bit in the way waterfalls but the rest will stay the same hope you’re kind of understand.
I love this idea. Part of me wishes I hadn't terraformed my island, but it's far too late lol. If I were to ever have a second island I'd do this same thing. You're so inspiring to work with what you've got

I’ve been striving for minimal terraforming. I haven’t changed the water at all and slightly adjusted cliffs to allow access to the secret beach and to make it a bit easier to place inclines.
I also try not to disturb the trees too much but that is much harder.
I am on day 4 of ever playing ACNH and I see so many islands that are so organized. But yours is so much more beautiful to me! I can’t wait to make an island full of life and diversity!!
this was so inspiring! i find terraforming quite tedious so this has given me lots of ideas on how to decorate without terraforming
I’ve watched 100’s of island videos and this is by far my favorite island I’ve seen. I love the challenge making things “flow” when not terraforming. This is beautiful!
This inspired me to start playing the game again! This is exactly how it was designed to be played! No stressful terraforming, just a beautiful, natural looking island! 💕
this is incredible work!! i have been playing for around 2k hours and no time skip, so i really needed motivation and inspiration to finally do something new and exciting. now i imagine filling my island with lots more colors, connecting it all better after having some duo or trio colored areas only. really really amazing, the attention to detail is so beautiful and its just overall a great harmony. thank you for sharing this :) i would love to be able to dreamwalk this island one day!

Your island is gorgeous. I don’t like terraforming that much. I do did some small changes like adding a waterfall to a pond to the next lower cliff or shaping the cliff to fit my house in. But in general I like working with what is there. Because I’m a perfectionist ! If I start modifying one time, there’s no end to it and it’ll leave me forever unsatisfied. The best design ideas that I got on my island where born out of kinda an emergency, working with problems makes me more creative than removing them entirely 🤷♂️.
I love this whimsical island 💚 my favorite part is the cosmos shower watering the flowers on the beach 😍 an amazingly fantastical idea ✨

This is a little funny but a couple months ago I started a no terraforming island and looking for ideas, I headed to this video! The funny part is that my island looks almost exactly like this one! Lots of good ideas now hehehe

My island is no terraforming thanks to your pros and cons video on it, save for a spot already done by my friend as a gift (music stage in the back). Been playing for years and just felt stuck cause I found terraforming daunting and something I’d need to do

I reset to do a no-terraform island, it's very fun and easy, and I can focus more on other things instead of thinking up ways to change the landscape. The starting landscapes are quite good anyways! I've only done small cliff changes to fit a ramp nicely, but that was just adding two squares of cliff, etc. I haven't even unlocked waterscaping because I've managed to fit 4 bridges so far on the original river, so there's no need.

I have barely done any terraforming on my island, the only major thing I did was flatten the third level, and even then I didn't have that much land on the third level to clear away. I got really lucky with a great layout when I picked it at the beginning.
Granted I'm still not done with my decorations and all but I'm pretty happy with it so far!!

This definitely happens to me as well! Sometimes some “regular” gameplay can help or trying to decorate with a certain color or paying attention to the villagers hobbies or something like that 🥰

I'm new to ACNH and i already made the decision to leave it as it is. I feel like it adds charm i think lol we'll see how long that train of thought lasts 😂 it's only been since Christmas.

I wish the tents at the start of the game were an optional design and fully functional like the upgraded buildings. The starter villagers' tents, Blathers' tent and resident services are so cute inside and outside. I love the farm theme, it'd be interesting to see how this island would've turned out before the 2.0 update.

I never did terraforming on my island either, I’m a little too lazy for that.
Because when I first got the game, within a few months, I started seeing islands that resembled either tourist islands or full blown cities.
Well, I wanted my island to stay an island.
Not a farm or cottage or anything, I don’t like those.
I live on the more outside parts of my city, I never hear cars driving and there’s a huge grass landscape when I look out of my balcony.
But it’s not too extreme either, where I literally live on the country side.
It’s the perfect middle.
So I wanted my island to resemble that.
Which is why my island stayed a small island, instead of becoming a big tourist attraction or a small city like other islands online.
It makes me feel very comfortable.
Because when I visit dream islands, I always feel either squished or lost…
Lol I’m definitely not made for these 1000 hour islands.
Yours looks really nice, I love forests, because my city is surrounded by mountains.

i just started playing acnh and i was inspired by a lot of the pretty islands that have terraforming but since I haven’t unlocked terraforming yet (I still have to get K.K to perform first ), i’ve been doing things without it, so this video was nice to see! (& I have a star shaped pond).
UPDATE: I have terraforming now! & I got HHP, I love it!!!

I love your island, it's really beautifully done. How do you get all of the different decor items? It seems like I always have the same old items in my nook shop and stuff.
As a short idea. You could make the room you couldn’t block entirely ( with the clothings and plants) a bathroom or Bedroom. IK this is super random but I would really recommend that. Your house has everything. A living corner, kitchen corner, cozy couches, an flower room and a basement. But you have no bathroom or place to sleep.
