But World's Apart was unique and they didn't have to cancel the auction because of that.

Which they made him share a tiny bit to each person plus a phone call from home. I actually really enjoy them getting a big spread for reward not this crap.

In the earlier seasons the survival aspect was a bigger focus of the show. That's why the portion sizes were small. They used to talk about how much weight everyone lost,now it's rarely mentioned. Colby went in with a good amount of muscle and came out looking emaciated. Once the producers figured out the audience was more interested in the strategy and social aspect keeping them deprived seemed unnecessary.
I just realized something. This season was filmed over Thanksgiving, so offering the plate of turkey, potatoes, even a bit of cranberry sauce made so much sense
The peanut butter is actually a very high IQ play. Full of protein. I'd never go in on something like chips or pop. Go for something that will give you energy.

In season 8 rob and amber went all the way to the end, and, they also got married of any of you saw survivor all stars. Ambers old name is Amber Brkich
Back then they paid like 200 for 6 french fries, and on the last seasons that did the auction people paid like 100 for 2 cheesburgers, an overflowing plate of french fries and a pepsi
