    When connecting a drive. How does everyone access the drive? On phones, tablets and smart tvs?

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you setup a NAS you just give permissions to devices. For instance, I have a Western Digital 2TB Cloud Storage that operates as a NAS. From the settings I create accounts for family members for permissions. Those family members download the WD app sign in to the account ( username & password ) and then have access to the 2TB NAS drive. I recommend the Plex server for Movies, Music & Photos. Its a free app that everyone can use in your household. When your home anyone with the Plex App can watch any video or listen to music from any device like Apple or Android or Smart TVs. To watch Movies away from home you would need to pay for the Plex Pass. With WD you can watch the movies away from home for free but the interface is difficult to navigate especially if you have a lot of files. But either WD or Plex works well. Plex just has a better interface that looks like a Netflix screen. Thank you for watching!
