Really enjoying this series. Might end up grabbing this one when it comes out. Would be a nice break from coi and similar factory games
I was dozing off in the middle of the video, but I caught the gist of the episode.
Now that you have the belts and the inserters automated, I guess that research will be the next task. I do recall hearing something about dumping the cubes into some sort of receptacle.
The MOLE should get better. I am thinking along the lines of Hard Space Ship Breaker. I have only watched others play the game, so I do not know what the upgrade paths look like, but better heat dissipation and less build up should be sought out. Might the volume that is removed increase? 4^3 seems to be good enough for now, especially with the caverns available everywhere. Also, why are you prevented from changing the elevation up and down? Building some sort of ramp or staircase seems like a useful structure, even if it is only made from basic terrain.
I guess that you are in the 'burner city' phase of the game. At least you do not need to gather plant material any longer. You need to find a different way of producing electricity though.
Let's see what the third episode will give us.

It looks cool, the story is a good addition always felt that was missing from factrio, the first person stuff is disorienting but that's just watching I assume it wouldn't be that way while playing. I'm looking forward to see how this game handles large scale because ten assemblers really is just the initial babysteps
