Kalki 2898 AD is an epic science fiction film set in a dystopian future, intertwined with rich mythological elements. The story unfolds in two distinct eras, beginning in 3102 BC, where Ashwatthama, after the Kurukshetra War, attempts to destroy Uttarā's unborn child using the Brahmashirastra. For this heinous act, Krishna curses him to wander the earth as an immortal, witnessing humanity's decline throughout the Kali Yuga. His redemption is linked to protecting the mother of Vishnu's next incarnation, Kalki.
In the year 2898 AD, six thousand years post-Kurukshetra War, the city of Kasi is the last known civilization in a barren, post-apocalyptic world. This world is ruled by the tyrannical Supreme Yaskin, who resides in the Complex, a massive inverted-pyramidal structure above the city. Yaskin, a god-king, maintains his rule with the help of Commander Manas and Counsellor Bani, enforcing his will through the Raiders.
Fertile women in Kasi are abducted for Project K, a sinister experiment to create a life-extending serum for Yaskin. No woman survives past 120 days of pregnancy, leading to their deaths. Amidst this chaos, a young girl named Raia, disguised as a boy, escapes conscription with the aid of rebels from Shambhala, a hidden city.
The rebels, led by Rumi and a pregnant woman named Divya, believe they carry the prophesied Kalki. They are captured and executed by Manas, but not before the rebels manage to protect Raia. Raia encounters Ashwatthama, who joins her on a quest to find the true mother of Kalki.
SUM-80, a Project K subject, hides her 150-day pregnancy but is eventually discovered. During an escape attempt, she is assisted by a rebel named Lilly. Though Lilly sacrifices herself, SUM-80, now renamed Sumathi by the rebels, is taken to Shambhala. Their journey is fraught with danger as Manas places a bounty on Sumathi, leading to constant attacks from Raiders and bounty hunters.
Bhairava, a determined bounty hunter with an AI supercar named Bujji, pursues Sumathi. Upon learning through his divine gem that Sumathi's child is Kalki, Ashwatthama defends her fiercely. Despite Bhairava's efforts, they reach Shambhala, where the presence of Kalki brings the tree of life into bloom.
A climactic battle ensues as Bhairava betrays Shambhala, leading the Raiders to its gates. In a fierce confrontation, Manas is killed, but the struggle is far from over. Yaskin, rejuvenated by a single drop of serum, vows to capture Sumathi and her child himself, wielding Arjuna's legendary bow, Gandiva.

కర్ణుడు నీ అర్జునుడు అతని చేతిలో ఆయుధం లేనపుడు చంపాడు అనేది అబద్ధం, అదేవిధంగా కర్ణుడు తన రథాన్ని పైకి లేపే సమయంలో అర్జునుడు చంపాడు అని కూడా మహాభారతంలో అస్సలు లేదు. ఇది అంతా పూర్తి కల్పితం.
ఇలా చెప్పుకుంటూ పోతే కర్ణుడు గాడి నీచ బుద్ధి , అపజయాలు చాలనే ఉన్నాయ్.
