I'm also renovating my house now, and most if not all of the things I would follow my wife liking(yes I'm paying the money and certain stuff may not fit my taste), but if it makes my wife happy then so will I. Like what's mentioned in the video, happy wife happy life.
But from the looks of it almost 99% of the renovation is based purely on the guy's idea, that just doesn't feel right as both parties staying under the same roof.

The whole design doesn't flow and not congruent.The ventilation block and the picture frames a bit 画蛇添足. The neon lights make it look like a scene in red light district. But I admire the effort to meet the desired effect.
