2018 and here I am looking back at this video from 2013. Christina you were my very first inspiration for card making and what an excellent person to learn from! I continue to come back to your videos time and time again. There are some things I do automatically now (hinged style cards, matting - nothing looks good without a mat, layering, adding ribbons, pearls, flowers, embossed panels) that I learned from you. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for sharing so freely!
Such stunning cards - really lovely. You are so patient in the way you show us in such detail how you make your cards. Thank you for that and for all your inspiration. Jean Thomas xx
Thank you Christina , I soooooooo needed this tutorial and I wish I was as swift as you in choosing where the flowers will be placed, I love all three cards and this is a great way to finish off cards faster , very clever too I might add!
I add a new blog post everyday and it features a card that I have made ... I list the Spellbinders I used underneath each photo so that you can see them ... and then you can source them wherever you buy your dies from. The card you mentioned has been shown and so if you scroll back through the post yo will find the card and the list. The blog is Flowers, Ribbons and Pearls ... hope that helps you xx
Hi Christina. So glad to find you again. With the changes Google made to You Tube, I lost all my playlists and subscriptions. Lesson learned: make a list of all my favorites in case this happens again.
Thank you so much for your kind words and you really don't want to know how many Spellbinders and embossing folders I have ... you would be shocked ... truly xx
I love your videos! The soothing music is so pleasant in the background, and you have a very nice way of teaching us. The card are very pretty, and it's fun to see how many ways you can change around the same pattern. That's the fun part of our hobby, isn't it. BethAnn
Oh MY! Simply stunning! You do amazing work Christina! I am a huge fan! I am always amazed when you show your glitter box...That is a LOT of glitter! I hope you never have an accident and drop and spill that box! That would be almost tragic! what kind of glitter do you use? Blessings, Valerie
You make the most beautiful and elegant cards and you are so generous in sharing with us all, thank you! My hearing unfortunately as I get older is giving me trouble though and the background music has become too much of a distraction for me so I no longer can listen along with you because the music interferes for me, but I will continue to follow along in mute with you. I love all of your ideas with the Spellbinders dies!
The punches are from L-Em and named Fern and Ash Branch ... and I would send the cards in a box and there are several tutorials that I have done on creating boxes xx
Really nice cards as always can you please tell which dies you used in this video the big fancy one you see when you first watch it and the samller ones that are used later please and thank you
I have just found your site truly amazing, I have lots of videos to view lol Love your flowers they are so beautiful and you make it seem so easy. Thank you for the inspiration. Alison from NZ
Hi Christine, I really dont know how to say how much I love your style to make cards. Could you please tell me which punches do you use for the leaves? they are so beautiful!!
Beautiful cards, Christina. As always your such an inspiration. I do have 1 question though. Did you use the quaterfoil die to make that gorgeous frame and please please please tell us how you made it!! I think I should know just by looking at it but I cant seem to work it out!! Thanks for sharing x
Hello Christina, beautiful card designs as always! I have a couple of questions: 1- what brand is the punch for the fern leaves? 2- what kind of envelope would you use to mail the card? would you use a box envelope? Thanks for sharing your creativity! Maria
Hi Christina, please can you tell us what embossing folder you used for the pink card, it's beautiful. Stunning Cards as usual! I find the background music very soothing. TFS xx
Bummer - it's in the UK - I'm trying to locate it in the US. I'll keep looking. Thank you so much for showing me the link; it will help me though. Again, I love, and appreciate your tutorials.
They are all from www.wildorchidcrafts.co.uk and I do tell you in the video. They are a UK company but they ship worldwide and the flowers will not disappoint you and that is a promise. xx
Gorgeous. Quick question- is the lattice portion from a die or an embossing folder? Whichever it is do you have the name of it please? Thank you for a great tutorial.
The lattice panel is created from a die and here is he link to where I got mine from .... www.sunrisecrafts.co.uk/other-cutting-dies/quatrefoil-pattern-our-daily-bread-die.html
Hi Christina I am a newby to the die cutting and I only have a few dies to work with but as I can afford it i buy a new die picking the dies i would like from the absolutely beautiful cards you make I am wondering if you make all your flowers? if not could u let me know where you purchase them from I live in Australia and I have tried everywhere I can think of to purchase beautiful flowers like yours but have not found any Thankyou for your lovely tutorials they have helped me create so much xx :)
In the video I tell you that all the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts ... here is the link to their website for you ... www.wildorchidcrafts.co.uk
Christina Griffiths Thankyou for the information Christina I have just viewed the website and was very surprised at how reasonably priced the flowers are I certainly will be ordering some Best Wishes Eve
My goodness! You are a marvelous card designer. But I was wondering...how many dies and embossing folders DO you have? :-) Each time I search for the dies I see more and more of those lovely dies...I'll have to be a millionaire just to get all the ones I want. I applaud your truly wonderful gift.
I use a hot glue gun and that way I know they will not fall off but be careful as they get very hot and the glue will burn ... how do I know this ????? Ouch !!
I am sorry that you don't like the music but whenever I speak it is always turned down and my "Film Crew" is always very careful on that point. The alternative is to hear my neighbour calling her kids, the nearby airport or traffic going up the road outside my window, or somebodies dog barking ... and none of them make for a good video ... so the music will be staying xx
I didn't say I didn't like the music, it is my hearing that can no longer discern certain tones and pitches. I just can't hear you at times because you have a soft voice with the soft music in the background and my hearing cannot pull the two apart to distinguish one from the other. Your description of your neighborhood noises sound terrible!
