In this episode of Witness, we watch the resilience and tears of Ukrainian refugees on the Polish border. What do they think about the war going on in Ukraine? What are their feelings for Russia, Europe, and world politicians?

In a forced smile that turned into tears, Euronews reporter Monica Pinna saw all the resilience of a population that is fighting for justice, democracy, and freedom.

How fitting that 11-bit Studios sold their game "This War of Mine" full-charity to raise funds for Ukrainian Red Cross. Also, it is the first ever game approved by the Polish Ministry of Education as part of official historical education programme. The game is about the Yugoslav Wars but from a civilian perspective. This is not a game for the faint-hearted... I hope you have a decent life and make at least minimum effort into making the world a better place. As we all should. Cheers! ;)

I have to say, in almost all the reports and interviews I'm seeing... I can see how Ukrainians despite the unimaginable fear and situation they are now facing.. despite the anger and the pain, there is a calmness in them that I just can't fathom how they manage to have. Such incredible people. I'm truly in awe of their spirit. 😢💙💛

In Eastern Europe we heard all the stories about Soviets and their occupations from our parents and grandparents. At first it’s shock. Than it’s acceptance, acceptance that we are just the next generation to pick up the fight that our ancestors had, it’s a different mentality but shock, fear, and confusion transforms to duty. Ukrainians are going back to fight, while Poles rush to the peoples aid and keep supply lines flowing to the front

That's not exhaustive, generally Japan benefited from learning the art of cryptology from the Poles long before the war and both countries cooperated in this area, but other areas too ie Japan saved a number of polish orphans stuck in the soviet union in Siberia ( stalin had hundreds of thousands innocent polish citizens resettled by force, in cattle cars to Siberia and perhaps other part of this inhumane land called soviet union).. Japan and Poland had a common enemy - the soviets (and so had Japan and germany which I believe why Japan joined the axis) ..

It's a month now watching news on the war. Just breaks my heart to see so many have died, so many displaced, cities destroyed, the men who had to separate from their loved ones to defend their country, the tears of the refugees oh God this is so awful! So many Russians who protested the war have been sent to prison. hoping the war ends soon. Nobody except Putin wants a war. The plight of the Ukrainians reminds me of how the Jews suffered during the holocaust.

That's OK . Putin has introduced you with the hardships associated with present day life . How many of you provided service to your native country when there was no war . Life was a perpetual picnic for each of you until Putin has awakened you from the deep slumber . Most young girls remained participating in big congregations in Kyiv and all other major cities for speed dating with rich foreigners who kept visiting the country for whatever purpose all world knows .
Now that you have been given such heartfelt welcome in all countries you REMAIN grateful to God for the rest of your life . You are examples chosen by God so that people all over the world show sympathy and benevolence to needy courteous people . But we hope that you become financially independent by doing some jobs in any part of the world and remain gainfully employed and feed your children of varying age with food which you would buy by your own money , not by money earned by your husbands .
Learn to be earning entity , doing some jobs accepted by scriptures , other than speed dating and similar kinds of morally not so good jobs .
While you are in your working age and when you don't have any physical ailments , each woman should provide certain amount of service to the world working mostly outside your home for atleast one decade . When you have been given everything like good education and other concomitant amenities you must remain gainfully employed to a
minimum period of one decade , either in Ukraine or elsewhere .
    God bless you !

EU Parliament votes 2022.03.10 for sanctions vs Poland, Hungary.
The European Union has decided to impose economic sanctions on its member state Poland, even as the countrie deal with the influx of over 2 millions Ukrainian refugees in the last 3 weeks. European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favour of these sanctions on Poland in the middle of the unfolding humanitarian crisis. The European Parliament decided yesterday on 2022.03.10 to punish Poles for - "discrimination against refugees and the lack of democracy" etc ... with billions of penalties. The European Union persecutes Poland, inventing new reasons and demands that Poles pay the European Union multi-billion penalties. Apart from that EU also not pays Poland payments from the European fund that all countries of this union receive every year. Now there are over 2 million refugees in Poland. Poles opened the border, hearts, their homes and wallets for the victims of the war.

taking care of refugees is one thing, having a government which is not playing by the EU Rules and still getting massively funded by EU is another thing. While polish government is clearly tending to a non democratic leadership in the past 10 years, it is still a great thing to see how welcoming polish people (volunteers) are to ukrainian refugees. Yes, in this case polish government shows humanity, but the EU funds money for justice reforms are dissapearing in polish government. You really like to mix up two very different things to blame EU, right?
