Nice edit, as always. I do believe the Bush War is definitely a misunderstood war, especially by many Americans who heavily romanticize the conflict. You see, these people listen to Rhodesians Never Die once and think they know everything about the conflict, read a book, man! Try to understand the people and the conflict. Learn something! Just my "boomer" opinion, although I'm nowhere near being one. (Not referring to everyone or Zermatt just people who are Rhodieboos and such.)
Only boot licking communist use the term “rhodiedoos” since the left can’t meme properly. You also made it very a easy to recognize you are clearly not a good source on what to do or not do with such a heavy preconceived bias weighing you down. Equally there is a totally overblown demonisation of the Rhodesian government and system which misses the internal racial dynamics at play. Many Americans for one see it as identical to South Africa and essentially a race war, yet it was defined very heavily by anti-communism and brutality against black civilians by black ters (80% of those who served were of course black). The sad reality is that the West essentially brought about Mugabe as the only 'acceptable' resolution, a short sighted and deeply irresponsible move.
