Sorghum health benefits includes supporting health heart, keeping your digestive tract healthy and clean, supporting bone health, source of energy and many more. Awesome teaching presentation on sorghum. Thank you for sharing this wonderful information.
Don't even know why we still grow this. It's the one seed that's always left when we give a seed mix to our animals. Chooks won't even eat it if it's the only thing left.
I trim it right down to stage one. Micro green style. Trimming forces it to go to the boot stage rather quickly. Then I harvest it’s new smaller, shorter boot or soft dough for my Guinea. I have been able to harvest all summer. Small scale, but works for me.
until industrial age, sorghum was the most cultivated dry land crop. May be for a blast or something, whole world shifted to wheat, corn and oats. Rice ramained unchanged for low land area.
