A great video of Thorold but I am a little disappointed. You show Homestead Donuts BUT right next door is John's Meat Shop. John worked as a butcher in the Ontario Supermarket which is the building Homestead is in now. Everyone in Thorold knows John and his shop is very popular and frequented. Meatballs, Sauce, Meat on a stick, chicken/veal cutlets, etc. Fresh ground beef/pork mixture. You name it John gives it to you. In my opinion John's Meat Shop is more important that Homestead Donuts (yes, I have been in there and not impressed)

I didn't realize John's Meat Shop was such an important place in Thorold. You'll have to forgive me since I'm not actually from Thorold myself, otherwise I would've gladly filmed it for everyone.

Thorold is the greediest town in Canada. Not only have they developed every subdividable acre they`re now putting a McDonalds right beside a 1900s downtown. Anything for a buck!
