the mason actually seems like a great upgrade, the last sentence said if the stone road reaches a house it upgrades it and gives another worker, so in all the roads are 25% faster and double your workers
It'll be a great upgrade in the full version, but since the demo is only 14 days it's not worth sadge
Seems like it would be worth it if built near where multiple houses are.
Whoa that seems like a really compelling version of meta progression, the first couple runs were so fast and it seemed to push the player to find optimizations
I think the witch is that chick standing near the stone ruins right next to your town lol.

Was the woman with the skull staff, next to a standing stone, and surrounded by torches the Witch? I feel like this is a "did you see the gorilla" situation.
I tried clicking on her a few times. Maybe I missed.

@@wanderbots maybe it needed a road connection before you can interact? Just guessing here, not much to blame when the game doesn't explain much.

The music for the monsters arriving is the first five notes of the same music that played when Goku went Ultra Instinct in Dragon Ball Super...interesting.

Upgrading the road tiles with the mason up to a house allows more people to live in. I cant watch till the end today to see if you got to it
Not yet. I think I won't be able to pull that off till day 9 or so due to the resource costs.
Will road upgrades be persistent between runs just as regular roads?
@@MirageGSM sadly they don't.
@@MirageGSM When i got the upgrade it took a while for the mason to upgrade the road. It constantly does 1 tile at a time. And i also think he uses stone to upgrade it as well.
Don't forget that you can build a gold and a stone mine. They are very easy to spot because it's a plot with a lot of stone or gold. And apparently it seems that these are unlimited?
The battle music definitely reminds me of the Dragon Quest series. I'm glad you played this game. Now I gotta get the demo 🤣

It seems I am blind because I have not been able to find where you can see how much glory you have ^^° Been searching the screen for that number whenever Wander said how much it is...
You are able to spend your glory after you repair your castle (witch is also needed for extra storage), then the button for the use of glory unlocks and is on the upper right corner. There you have a couple of other buttons. You can also place flags, but that is for certain upgrades of buildings, this button is next to the button for the glory.

I didn't have enough workers to properly fund the mason. Upping those roads is really hard.
Learn the mechanics before playing a game. Blindly playing games is not entertainment. I literally figured out the mechanics faster watching, than you did playing. And it's just painful to sit and watch someone struggle with basic stuff.
Protip: don't tell people how to play games or do their job. It isn't appreciated, and only makes you look pushy and bad.
This is not a review, this is a first impressions video, and mastering it beforehand ruins the point.
You post stuff in a public place. Be prepared to get criticism. If you can't handle it, don't post videos. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine. It's painful to watch people learn basic mechanics, when they are this easy. Also I wasn't telling how to play, I was telling you a better way. Cause all this amounts to, is you padding the runtime of your video sitting there going uuuuuhhhhh i don't know how this works.
Then do it yourself if it's so easy? I'm sure with your abilities you should aspire to be a top tier TH-camr, rather than a comments section Karen whining about how bad I am.
@@wanderbots Wow I can't believe some youtubers these days. One comment, that wasn't even that bad. And now look, You are the one whining about my criticism. Grow up, and learn the world isn't perfect. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. The mechanics would have been easy enough to learn off camera, and you could have explained to your audience how it worked as you played. But you would rather waste everyone's time.
