I started on a 14.4 Kilobaud modem, then 33.6K. Eventually I got a K56 Flex modem and used that for quite some time. When DSL was introduced in my area I got 768Kbps download and 128Kbps upload.
The Filogic 860 is a Wi-Fi 7 powerhouse, featuring a 5x5 antenna design, 7.2Gbps speed, and Mediatek's Xtra Range support. It's not just a chipset; it's a leap into the future of seamless and high-performance connectivity.
I have 38 devices connected in the house, on a wifi 6 router for more than two years and it works like a champ. On the other hand, all the 7 routers that are currently on the market have ridiculous prices ($4000 to $1899) so for me they can stay there in the stores, until they put them at people's prices
Most of them are high end mesh systems which even during wifi 6E was costly like oribi 960 which is $1500 usd till now . Don’t expect price of wifi 7 go down any time soon and they are selling enough as well .
Why does everything need to have an internet, I don’t know why would u want to connect a refrigerator, microwave, laundry machine, oven, water heater. To the internet. When thought out all years before people been living happy with out one in them
not impressed. 6G is more impressive. it should be able to stream 32k high bitrate video without lag. Then only gpu and camera companies with film makers will be encouraged to make 32k content
This is a waste of money most people won’t need all that. Especially when the world average internet speed is slow. For home 42 inches and below 4k video is the best human eyes can tell beyond 4k especially when are eyes are not 1 inches away from the tv. I don’t see a reason to get a router from this year when one can get a router a decade old install give you 4k streaming.
I still remember dial up and 512kb/sec. What a time to be alive

That jump from wifi 6e to 7 is crazy
Still Wifi 5ghz is good enough for 99% of users 😂

This is the best Wifi7 explainer video on the internet
Gov of India has still not allowed to use 6 GHz for Wi-Fi..
I'll be waiting for them to approve licence for it then only upgrade to Wi-Fi 7.
Whoever did this got the money they want so they just boosted it for us. Thanks
I'm patiently waiting for msi to make a Am5 motherboard with wifi 7

And none of this is relevant if your provider only supports 100Mb/s
Now , I'm thinking what wifi 8 will be capable of with the multi AP coordination.

They ain't necessarily using internet, they just use wifi network to be controlled remotely like app on phone, and logging usage data and statistics
I don't see my a home fridge needs internet connection. Can someone enlighten me please?
