I say that because rap really did heavily influence the vocabulary you hear in these episodes. The creator back in 2005 said that all he really wants is to expand dialogue and challenge people to think about things they wouldn't normally think about. The show's controversial, but it's one I'd recommend to anyone, regardless of their background. Also having watched all of your reactions, the best way to determine how good something is, is to measure how red Ashley gets. The redder she gets, the better the episode.

A lot of the jokes and storylines on this show actually reference real events, you might miss it if you are not aware of the real life situation in the first place but most punchlines come from real life than you might realize. I clock new references every time I watch the show
