Very cool! Naima is a pretty sophisticated tune (moreso than I previously thought!). Nice solo! Thanks!

@@SaxophoneSteveKortyka I think in some ways Body and Soul is easier than Naima!!

Muito obrigado! Estou usando um modelo YTS 82z Atelier, embora todos os yamahas tenham um som muito semelhante. O bocal é um modelo Syos Custom que não toco mais - agora uso um Boston Sax Shop E Series

Thanks for this Steve! SO good! This is my wife's favorite Coltrane song. I'm Old Fashioned is mine though. This is down a half step eh? Sounds cool.

Thanks so much! yeah this tune is epic - so beautiful, simple yet well thought out. Coltrane's compositions are the truth 💯. I thought that it was in the key of Ab originally no?

@@SaxophoneSteveKortyka In the Trane omnibook it's up a half step but it's an alternate take..

Hi Steve, I dig your tenor sound. I'm interested in your SYOS tenor Signature model, but I'd really appreciate your feedback or a short presentation on how it compares to other SYOS models (resistance, subtone, reed friendly, etc.). I play an Otto Link TE 8* with Vandoren trad. nº2 reeds.

Thanks man much appreciated! Yeah I can do a video on it :) I think everything about it is easy to play - low resistance, pretty free blowing and I get a lot of good reeds with it. I use a no. 2 Boston Sax Shop Reed with it and its a 9 tip opening. I used to play a Vandoren T9 and it was GOOD but the SYOS has much more character/volume and flexibility to it. I have a good mic now and should be able to do a demo pretty easily though. I hope what I said helps :)
