Very helpful video, especially appreciate the 4-camera split screen! For me, these were a bit of a struggle initially until a new instructor noticed my collective hand position was off (not far enough under the throttle). That positioning resulted in me pulling collective slightly every time I rolled off the throttle. Once my hand was positioned correctly, my hover autos smoothed out nicely 😊
It’s a seven-minute video, but it took me a lot longer than that to play as I kept backing up to look at each of the screens. Excellent work Kenny, thank you.
The multiple angles is really good to see Kenny, thanks for that. Interesting tips too! I passed my PPL this week after having partialled my previous checkride due to mucking up my hover auto... so this is really interesting to see what happens if you deliberately leave the pull to be quite late!
