Good video. I Bought 5 dozen of the new V2FF fully flocked they definitely pop a bit more than the V2F. Wish they weren’t quite so dark. I run traffic on well educated honkers. Planning on using both the V2F and V2FF on my next hunt and see how well they look together.
We've always run black/whites here on Md's Eastern Shore. Natural goose coloring tends to blend in with dark terrain so the FF will absolutely turn birds. Problem I see is that I'm not sure how they will finish them if that is your primary decoy. I think you use them 60-70 yards upwind from your desired LZ to turn them and finish them with a more natural looking decoy. Good looking decoy and I wish they were on the market before we cut out hundreds of our own homemade silos.
Wondering if you flocked 1 side black and leave other side with print. You face the black towards direction of flight to run traffic and then on the circle the other side is a softer presentation
We’re sure birds can tell the difference, but the number of birds we’ve not only killed, but landed in the spread, tell us it’s not something that is detrimental to a hunt.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Has anyone ever complained or brought to your attention that the white on the cheek patch and rear are too bright??? It’s definitely an attention grabber from a distance but up close it seems startling. I’ve never seen a wild goose with a bright white cheek patch. Most are dirty grey or a off shade of white but not the white that’s on your decoys. I’d be interested to hear your comments on this issue. I love my Dive Bombs but I think they could be even better!!!! 🦆🦆🦆
Dude you need to do a fly over of your snow goose silos I keep hearing guys say snow geese cant see them I for one do not belive that, I meaneven if they are directly over the spread there has to be decoys on the left and right in veiw, and if they would go out of veiw it would only be for a split second, your thoughts.
I know this video is a little older than others so this may not be seen, was wondering your opinion on using them on cloudy days? The VBWs that is. It seems birds are not fond of them on cloudy days, at least it my area. Sunny seems to be alright, but when it's cloudy they just don't like it as much. Just my observation, was wondering if you had any thoughts. Could have been a million other things I know. Just curious to your experiences. Anyone's really.
I dont have any dive bombs yet hopefully in the near future I'll be able to get a dozen or two to try them out here in vermont I hunt by myself putting out 70 full bodies is kinda tough on me at times I'm almost 62 and still killing em I love the sport and I'll love it till I die , so have fun out there while you can and be safe out there tc and good luck .
I hunt with an older gentleman and he uses the socks as well with the silo's and they are exceptional. Great quality and they are easy for him to setup. They have the support running down the back so even in minimal to no wind they still have a good form and are very easy to setup. I would recommended looking at those as well in the future.
The best part about our decoys is that they mix great with other types of decoys, so no need to get rid of the old trusties! Thanks for watching and best of luck this season!
This was super cool Forest. I thought you were gonna throw up a drone to look, but a plane! Heck yah!

This was a cool video and a nice comparison but I was hoping for more of an analysis on decoy flocking in general, not just black vs natural colors.
Cool to see the difference from the bird's perspective. Grandma is pretty cool too!
Awesome stuff, love these kinds of videos
Love it!! Awesome job man 👍👍

Stand out from afar but do they flare birds at all when they get close or can't birds tell the difference?
Also your grandma is awesome haha and they def are lighter than hay!

Birds aren't that smart.

Your Grandma rocks!
She’s the best!!!
Gorgeous 180!
I don't have a spread without the BWs. No way, no how. No reason to not want to be seen. Thanks for the epic video forest!
We’re glad you enjoyed it!

I understand 1000 AGL, but I think you just demonstrated why you want full bodies, socks or shells if you are an avid goose hunter.
