Popstar vs rapstar is what I told my students 10 years ago. I listened to bay area hip hop. Made fun my the modern rap asked my students, "what rap artists do you listen to Lizzo" because they don't know what rap is, just rhythmic pop.
eeeeh i just tried that last week at a meeting. a store owner from the capital brought them with some other expensive sets like the Annihilator and two Symphonium IEMs. the Alter Ego is an interesting set with dual tuning. i like the reference tuning more but everybody at the meet prefer the other tuning profile. overall they're pretty dope,very luxurious feeling. hopefully i can try it again someday

I’ve been enjoying this set for a month now and I love it. Yes the cable looks similar to the ones on RN6 but it is silver plated copper, while the RN6 is pure silver, also the RN6 cable is thicker. Both are good with default cable but can be better with aftermarket ones.
I had my S12s in for the intro and felt that rumble in my soul. I already watch all of these videos, but I'd absolutely love it if all of them have this type of format
I love the black box, it's very well thought. That's a nice switch design too, getting as sim ejection tool just to move a switch is extremely annoying.
Not sure if they could have used any more bubble wrap, agree the cardboard box is a bit of a let down considering how well presented the rest of packaging is. Will be interested in how they sound.
Crazy looking set for sure. The packaging is what it is, but as long as the set sounds awesome, looks decent and has a good quality cable with reasonable terminations out of the box, it's fine by me. But ur right about everything on this kinda pricepoint, sort of everything should be locked in.

It has some Aria 2 style on it, but looks great. Also, really nice, small and simple unboxing experience (i had storage problems for all the boxes, so i really appreciate when a company do that). Btw, any news or spoiler about pilgrim unbox? 👀
Design and presentation of this set look amazing. Kinda miss the driver configuration of this set but found it on headfi: 1DD + 4BA + 4EST. Also the material is titanium so probably lightweight. So only 4.4 mm plug? Looking forward to the review. Thanks for the unboxing and wish you still a speedy recovery.
Ego looking pretty good!! Different and interesting design, only 1 bass switch is acceptable, and I like where it was placed, it seems very practical even with them in your ears. Why the direct link to Dunu Glacier in this video?!!

I don't know how I feel about fresh brands going for this price bracket straight from the get go. I mean, uhm... That's bold. But then there's Subtonic. Quite a smooth way to open that accessory box with a pen, haha. Damn, it was a pneumonia?! Glad you're over it, man. My father has been sick with a respiratory infection for a few weeks now and is finally getting better, thank God. I'm in the early stages myself and it's been going on and off like than for the past 5 months. My entire family got very sick in January. It was so tough I thought it was going to finally end me and was very scared for my family. Never fully recovered from that. There's some terrible stuff running rampant right now. Take care!
Kendrick re-paralyzed Jimmy Brooks with that track. That faceplate alone looks like a giant pain in the ass to produce. Also looks like you can swing them over your head like a deadly weapon in a pinch. That's a feature.

Or do you think that cardboard box is really that important? I thought of it as being a lot closer to like an Amazon box or something. Just some recyclable. Either way, good shit. If that box is important I'd say they need to work on that at least but I think the earphones themselves are super unique and dope

$2500 🤯 the box it comes in is really nice. You can easily put it on a bookshelf as a cool art piece. And I like the industrial look of the IEMs.

Interesting design. I've never tried an open back IEM. I normally wear IEMs when I need isolation from background noise. Very nice looking set though.
