Daughter of A King | Spoken Word |

This poem is so dear to my heart. I have struggled with so many things most of my life, and still do to this day. Back and forth with what the world tells us we should be, who we should be, and what we have.
Apart from all that, the only thing that needs to matter is who we are in Christ. When you wipe the makeup off, when you gain 5 pounds, don't get the promotion, or whatever it is you are looking for, who are you?
I wrote a poem a while back, very similar to this, but still didnt understand then who I was. Who i was created to be. I still thought it was in MY grasp. That i controlled who I was...WRONG!!
You are the daughter of the one and only king, the creator of heaven and earth, he one who set all things into place.
