No matter how many videos I see from you boys, I’m still amazed at how you get your students to swing better without completely changing their natural swing. Other teachers would begin to deconstruct the swing and get the student to get into all of the usual technical positions and filled their heads with so much trash that they are paralyzed over the ball. Cheers.
Thanks Marcus 👍 really enjoyed your lesson I have a much better understanding of my golf swing and after watching the complete video back how bad iam at listening to simple instructions 😂 I’ve had a couple of weeks now to practice and I’m hitting the ball with a nice draw and a penetrating flight, it’s massively helped watching the video back, I’m hitting my 7 iron around 160 yards now slightly better than 106 yards 🤦♂️
So you mean if a deloft a 7 iron, and trap it into a 6 iron loft, the ball will go further? Wow,ill alert the media,,how exactly are you going to get the precise angle everytime? Would it not be better to hit a perfect 7 iron, and then if you wanted another 20yds,hit a 6 iron? Isnt that what manufacturers are doing anyway, delofting there irons,to fool you into thinking this years model goes further?
He's saying his 7 iron will go to his current 6 iron distances by de-lofting the club and hitting down properly, like you should. His 6 will go his 5 iron distances. All with less effort due to the flow and correct angle of attack.
If you can hit a shorter club a longer distance, then you have better accuracy at that new distance. Your 8 iron dispersion will be smaller than your 6 iron, now imagine hitting your 8 iron the same distance as your 6 iron (I know that's exaggerated), how many more greens in regulation could you hit?
@@IrelandsEireians oh yeah 100% I have a set of Ping irons and a set of older mizuno blades. My older mizunos are 4 degrees more loft compared to the newer pings so I have to seriously try to deloft my mizunos to match the distance of my pings

Update! Definitely working I’ve managed to get down to a single figure handicap 👍
That's awesome news, well done and keep up the great work 👍

M - I've tried the de-lofting but it makes me feel like I've got to "block" it to prevent the hook/heavy draw.
Swing our right feel, exaggerate it and it won't go as right as you think.

@@Costigs01 Yep, shorter length clubs = easier to hit. I often get more success hitting a 7 a little harder than using a 6.
@@Costigs01 yes,but manufacturers are still delofting clubs to fool you into thinking this years model goes further.
