  • I bought this Craftsman 6 1/8" Jointer/Planer new about 28 years ago. It's been through some abuse and lived in an unheated garage for 15 years where the environment took it's toll on it. Now that my shop is heated it's time to refurbish it and get it back to like-new condition.

Just picked up a 113.206931 for $50. Going to spend a few days restoring it and give to my father-in-law for Christmas.

I picked up one of these models for a pretty great price. Most of it was in great shape, the table surfaces needed to be restored, blades replaced and the tables shimmed. Along the way I also cleaned out all of the old grease/lube and used some more modern, longer lasting, grease/lube. This jointer is amazing, and it's true: they don't build them like they used to!

I just picked up one just like (351.227240) this last weekend for $75 in great shape except that it's missing the red blade guard. Any idea where to find one?

Is that an 8 inch jointer? I just bought one, & now I realize I can’t find any blades. Do you have any aftermarket part numbers? Thanks

Doing the same refurbishing project on my late grandfathers jointer, same model as yours. Found this helpful. Any leads on where to get a replacement blade guard? Cannot find them online anywhere!
