@ 100%…mine is the ranch version with a 16” barrel I think…thus far about 2 1/5” at 100 yds…which will be good enough…will be carrying it this coming Saturday…I have killed several with the 350L and like it a lot…figured the 400L would be more of a good thing!
Good ta see this! I have been trying to get one here for almost nine months. Two dealers checking everywhere could only come up with Ranch Models. I want a Predator but three months back said OK to the std model. (Like yours) Midway had some but for over 200$ higher than any local dealer. 200... On a 500$ gun is TOO MUCH additional cost. So I passed. I have seen Savages and Mossbergs. Why Ruger cant get these into the pipe line is a problem. I have dies, 200 pcs of brass. 6 box factory ammo and three bullet molds for this gun. Plus a scope and bases n rings for a Ruger rifle...
I did a bit of searching to find this gun and probably paid too much but, I'm glad to have it. Sure wish the reloading cases and bullets were available. 😊😊
A great shooter!…I have one and just getting it ready for deer season…mine doesn’t shoot that well…
I do like this gun! Not to worry, tight groups are fun but not really needed to get the job done. 😊😊

@@cw2a 400 legend?
@ Yes sir! Sorry I cannot remember the site.
@@cw2a Thanks! I do some digging.
Great video! This looks like a huge one! You are getting very good at your target practise! Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Great groups. Down here in Oz my biggest cal is 357. That is a beast.
Thanks for the video and keep safe.
Thanks! I have the 350 Legend also which shoots 357. I downsize them from 358 and that works very nicely. 😊😊
very cool video my friend
Thank you!
Great groups for a larger caliber, was that at 100 yards???
That was 60 yards which is my favorite range. Also, very practical for me as the woods doesn't allow long range shooting.
What was your recipe for the 200g xtp. Pressure and powder?
Great to see this. Thank you
@@mclarridge2001 Thanks! I was using 26.2 gr LilGun. That works for me but, your mileage may vary. 😊😊
What’s the recoil like? What would you compare it to?
I didn't think it was bad at all. Maybe abit more than the 350 Legend. Definitely, not as bad as the 450 BM. The muzzle brake probably helped.
@@arectechafterwork9772 I’m waiting for the predator version to come back in stock. Thanks for the info!
@@SouthTexasRed That's what mine was listed as on gunsdotcom. RUGER AMERICAN PREDATOR GEN II
