I have applied for 100 jobs, they all need skills and qualifications I don’t have and noone is willing to train me and give me a chance. It sucks that people think i’m lazy just because employers don’t see my potential and I can’t afford training or university here in Australia. If people are genuinely trying to get employed but are failing, unlike the dude in the vid, it’s not their fault.

Everyone with money to go around has homes and apts. things need to be fixed be a handyman or pick up a trade. Ur in ur apt right now TH-cam everything in ur apt how to repair ur there all day now on this phone. Learn train plumbing, electrical, locks, doors, Sheetrock, plaster. Good money in it. Ur goal though union job plumbing, electrical, in 10 yrs u will be making 40-50 hour. Learn the application process keep eyes when they come out hiring. Also keep ear if u or family friends know anybody in unions they could prob talk Get u in. As for handyman when u get good apply to property management companies. With a union!!!!

Man, I've been working at my full time job at McDonald's for 20 years when i was like 19 or 20 and now I'm 40 not to mention i got myself a part time job at Wal-Mart for 11 months and I love my life and I thanked the good Lord for the wonderful life I've had. The third option "get out" sounded a bit cold. I didn't get my first job until I was 19 years old. I worked at a place called Transitions and I was folding laundry. I started working there in July of 2012 but I had to leave that job the next month because school was starting. By October of 2012, I got my second job but it was a seasonal job. I did some janitorial stuff at a golf course, cleaning golf carts, stocking up the fridge, counting the drinks and all that kind of stuff. Worked at that golf course from October 2012 to November 2015. By September 2017, I got my third job, it was a lab assistant at small company in Camp Point, IL (30 minutes from where I lived) and the hours there were long and hard most of the time and I would come home feeling so fatigued cause I had to be there at the crack of dawn. But I realized it was worth because I was making some good money there. But then in November of 2020, I had to leave that job because my family had to move. So I was without a job from December 2020 to February 2021, then in March I got a job as a utility worker at the dining facility on the Air Force Base where I'm living now.
With some kids lying around the house being lazy, not working hard or going to school, should realize there is a time when their parents aren’t going to be around anymore. My parents would not let me lie around being lazy, not working hard or going to school. They would not have that period.

Yes you can. I have disabilities and can't work because of them, and thankfully I don't live in America. In Australia you get money from disability pension, not some crappy food stamps, so I can enjoy things like video games and Netflix.

One of the things that shocks me a lot is regarding the ALLOWENCE, in Spain we never had such thing. Kids do not get nothing and they are teached from chilhood to help at home. It's true that we do not pay rent to our parents ( at least mines ) but before to be indepands if we were working we never had to pay nothing to them ( obviously everything like internet, phone, car, gas, bills was paid by us ) they was paying the food and household bills. Of course beeing older and even living outside their homes if they struggle for some reason we do help them, that's minimum we can do for our parents apart loving them and respect them for sacrificing for us.

I got some other friends who did work and went to college; they ended up having more hits than the Beatles in Norway My parents weren't supportive of me. I left home at a young age and went into the workforce. I look at my friends who have supportive parents and the fame they now have. Not working with a vision, and when the vision is progressing... It is a tricky one. This video can be potentially damaging, because it is hard to get employment; so many rejections. You got to think about the self-esteem of the person being rejected, and the impact of this video.
It's gotten pretty bad, a lot of young people nowadays will make any excuse not to work. Some say they can't get jobs yet here in the U.S. we have so many latinos working with no GED, no citizenship, nothing... So honestly kids lie when they can't say that they can't find work.

I work 80 hours a week and still live with my parents because prices are too high, and I can't save enough money to move out or afford college because of living expenses. I do help my family, and that's where most of my money goes. I can't seem to live a life anymore, and my young adult life is wasting away in a warehouse and at Wal-Mart. I'm working double the normal work hours a week just to breathe.

When I was 18.. my parents told me I could either go to college, get a job, or I could leave. I’m thankful I work a full time job I love. I can’t just sit around and sloth about.
