DAY 760
Join me and Butter (my adorable travel buddy) on an exciting day filled with food, long walks, and peaceful temple camping! 🚶‍♂️🐾
• Food Breaks & Long Walks: Started the day with light refreshments, followed by a hearty lunch featuring delicious thali, rice, and curd. We covered 22 kilometers today while soaking in the scenic countryside!
• Butter’s Paw Problem: Mid-journey, Butter faced some paw discomfort while walking over rough terrain, but don’t worry, we handled it like pros! I share why dog shoes don’t work practically for Butter and how I ensure her comfort during long treks.
• Reaching Gondal: After a long walk, we arrived at a serene village temple dedicated to Kuldevi Durga Maa. With permission from the locals, we set up camp in this peaceful spot. The temple’s grandeur and calm atmosphere make it a perfect place to rest.
• Evening Vibes: After freshening up and a simple dinner, we settled in for the night at the temple, reflecting on the day’s achievements and preparing for an early start tomorrow.

What's your view on cooking in camp by yourself sometimes when there's uncertainty of dinner. Worth considering it.

Actually it’s quite a hassle, because if we are on the mountains it’s great to trek and cook and great as an activity too. But walking everyday and then finding material to cook and then clean up utensils and everything and specially carry more food to cook means more weight seems to be too much. And we always find a place to eat and if not then we try and avoid that route.
