illinois here its a famous pizza for chicago but everyday us chicolanders eat tavern style more than deep dish its a once in awhile thing or tourist attraction
That’s valid. I can’t imagine eating a heavy pie like this everyday…
Detroit is the only real deep dish
They must be married for a very long time because he has learned to agree to everything.
🤣🤣🤣 Bless your heart!
😂
I've been married 30+ years. I learned these three phrases: yes dear, you're right and I'm sorry.
I've been waiting for someone to do a review on this. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
I just bought one today, it’s the ultimate meat. I love the motor city frozen pie from Walmart it’s my favorite frozen pie out of them all. I can’t wait to try the one I got today.
Such a laid back vibe love your content your both very likable folks ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
We have so many amazing pizzerias that sell homemade pizza for a good price… so I don’t buy frozen pizza often… sometimes (like if they are on clearance and extremely cheap) I will pick one up… but they usually fall short. Thanks for trying these!
We appreciate you watching 😃
We got one just to try something different. Thanks for the review. Now we'll know to add some pepperoni. 👍
I’m so glad you two are eating this with utensils! Finally a correct review of Chicago deep dish pizza. I watched some gen z dolts (maybe it was on Vice or something?) eat this pizza and they ate it h their hands! They were are all belligerent about it “oh you’re supposed to eat pizza with your hands!” No you ding-dongs, not THIS pizza! This pizza was made to be eaten with a fork and knife and in a nice sit down restaurant. That’s why it was invented! You want a fast eat with your hands pizza, get EVERYTHING else, but Chicago deep dish pizza was invented for the sole purpose to be a sit down eat with utensils dinner pizza. 🙄
I just love how chill and laid back you guys are. I love the reviews and just hope to have a marriage like you guys.
Thank you so much!
A slice of the Windy City right in your frozen aisle
I just finished eating the Ultimate Meat tonight!!!!!! It was really good!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna try the Prima Pepperoni next time!!!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy!
It’s close to the restaurant but it’s not fresh from unos is amazing.
Just tried the Prima Pepperoni pizza & it was delicious!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I'm a NY style guy, but also like Detroit style. However, I gotta say the Chicago deep dish looks more like an actual pizza "pie." But gee that's alot of sauce! Tomato sauce can give me bad heartburn.
We prefer the Detroit style.
The crust tastes just like a pie crust which I didn't care for.
I am a huge pizza fan and occasionally includes frozen pizzas. This is the first actual authentic Chicago deep dish pizza iv seen in the frozen pizza aisle n i myself love sauce my girlfriend currently pregnant doesn't so i thought it was decent a little overpriced but all n all i enjoyed it.
on the way back home from Michigan we stopped in Chicago for pizza at a restaurant called my pi pizza and it was delicious!
I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Sounds good
appreciate the video and btw make sure, on the video editor you use, to always go above 8 minutes, never at 8 minutes completely because TH-cam will always take that 1 second away. Try to do 8 minutes 2 seconds
I'm putting one of these in the oven right now I actually went to the net to find the cooking instructions because I threw the box out. I should come back and give you folks my review after I ate it.
I hope you enjoyed it!
So I'd say it's about what I expected if not a little bit better for being frozen. It was serviceable and it was a deep dish pizza mine didn't spill over and there's a pretty good combination of everything of course doughy but it's a deep dish pizza. These type of pizzas are better in the restaurant and the reality is if you eat it once or twice a year just treat yourself at the restaurant and skip the frozen.
What are a few of you guys favorite take home pizzas? I like Motor city pizza ok but can't find a decent thin crust.
Screamin’ Sicilian I’m Thin And Crispy are good especially the Double Sausage 😃
I've want some 😊
if looks like a very deep pizza but like the sausage one you can’t see the pepperoni as the red sauce is very thick 😢
We don’t care for this.
"This is not pizza! It's tomato soup in a bread bowl! I want to know when I get drunk and pass out on my pizza, that I'm not gonna drown" Thank you John Stewart. The Uno pizzas I've bought in the past had quite a bit of meat. To be fair though, I haven't bought them in a couple years. With Pep's Draft Haus pizzas expanding to Meijer and Piggly Wiggly up here and Woodman's carrying all of them, I don't foresee getting Uno again anytime soon.
No one cares
Lou Malnati's is so much better, but you have to order it from Taste of Chicago
That Uno deep dish pizza does not do justice to any deep dish pizzas. There’s way too much tomato sauce on there. Can’t wait to see your reaction and Kevin’s reaction when you bite into that sloppy looking thing. An awesome pizza is Gino’s East Deep Dish Pizza and you do get a lot of meat. I also pick the pepperoni/ Sausage pizza.
We don’t care for Gino’s. I wouldn’t buy this brand again either.
@@TamiDunnGinos East thin pizza is also horrible but I do like their Deep Dish pizza. It’s my favorite of all. it’s very hard to find a decent frozen pizza Digiorno is my 2nd favorite Home Run In may be the the worst. My family calls their pizza “cardboard pizza”
I agree, both pizzas need more meat for sure! Kevin tasting the cheese definitely shows it’s flavorful. As I said yesterday, I’m glad the sauce is on the sweeter side. I might give the pepperoni a one time try. Thanks for a great review.
This isn’t our type of pizza, but it was fun to try 😃
Of course because you used a bigger piece of parchment paper this time it didn’t mess, typical 🤣. I’ll pass on this one. Thanks for the review.
I know! That’s typical 🤪
41 yrs old and a pizza junkie.. I think it was the worst frozen pizza I've ever had in my life..
We haven’t bought one since.
I didn’t enjoy it. I’ll try again but next time I’m thawing it
This is a sit down knife and fork pizza! Not a pizza a dominoes, round table, etc.,!
i want some please 🥺
I wouldn’t buy it again.
@@TamiDunn come on Tami please I've want one too
Sounds decent for what it is :)
It’s okay.
I enjoy deep dish pizza, esp Lou Malnati with Uno next…
Thanks for a terrific review. When I order the pizza from the company, they ship w dry ice, the sausage is “packed” in it. I’m so surprised that both are missing meat. I agree Lou Malnati’s crust is scrumptious compared to UNO’s.
Motor City, Screamin Sicilian and Hime Run are my favorite get in your grocery store pizzas 100 percent.
Have a sunny and bright day.😊😊
Thank you 😊
Wait, did you mean star wars weapon? Lol tge lightsaber? Lol good review!
Again one of my favorites.
We prefer a different style of pizza.
Maybe that's why they put the sauce over everything... To hide their skimpiness... Lol jk 😆
That's too bad though. They could've been good, but they decided to be cheap.
I absolutely think they can hide the fact that they are using less meat.
