After all, it was THRILLER! I didn’t understand why they sang Thriller along with Heads Will Roll, a song which I never heard of. Damned if it didn’t work though! That night, I learned what a mash up was and instantly became fan of the show. Edit: Ok, so discovering what a Mash-Up was didn’t make me an instant fan. It had all to do with my shock at watching an episode of Glee! I mean, what the heck was I watching?! Sue Sylvester was super politically incorrect and I loved it! The singing was outstanding as was the choreography! I didn’t know any of the characters, but damned if I wasn’t rooting for them by the end of the episode. Besides, Glee kept me current on music and slang. 🤷🏼♀️😆

But when the Glee club have their music performances and especially the annual musical, the other students go and enjoy every number. They clap enthusiastic but they never cross the line to approach them and say "You were great" or "Wish I joined the Glee club". The ones who congratulate are the Glee kids' friends. And I often receive more feedback than them and it's very weird because my club knows what the school thinks of their performance 'cause I told them after a very informal survey that I do at least twice a month lol
