Now consider you score a pizza a 9.9. Tomorrow, you have a significantly better pizza. You can't score it a 10, 9.95 doesn't convey much superiority. Therefore, you shouldn't score a 9.9.
Now, suppose you score a 9.8. If you have a better pizza, you can't give it a 9.9 as I argued above. 9.85 suffers the same problem. No 9.8

GEM4sta yup. You could in theory have a 9.8 and then score the remainder that are better equal 9.9’s but if you go to a 9.9 then you’d never be able to go higher so that was my major point. 🤙🏻
