Besides having an Eureaka Oro this setups looking very familiar down to the ember mug. Can’t tell if I’m basic or if I’ve achieved espresso. Hard to complain about any of the equipment though lol.
I will probably in H1 2024 convert in Quebec my 8 years old Vape Shop in 50% vape 50% Coffee Shop and to make a long story short, i will be needing a dual boiler coffee machine with smart functions such as sleep mode so it doesn't stay 100% at full heat between customers as i will not be having that many as it will be just a "side business" but i would also need quick recover/wake-up performance so I was first thinking of something like the "Lelit Bianca v3" that i bought to my mom, much better PID than my R58, but would the Decent be a much better choice or would it be total overkill? I'm mostly afraid of the serviceability as it something that can be repaired by most qualified technicians or they will all refuse to touch it and will refer you to Decent themselves which are in China where it cost 50000$ to ship anything from Canada 😬
@@LifestyleLab_ Hmm that could be a possibility seeing the roaster I want to be affiliated with are also a distributor for Vittoria but I felt the Eagle One was very expensive for the little more it offers over a Bianca V3, like if it really wasn't worth 2.2x the price but if he can make me a deal maybe that could be an option since he also use a 3 group Vittoria as his serving machine. Otherwise wouldn't the new "Sanremo You" be a better option price/quality wise?
The two machines may look similar on the surface, but I can assure you are would be significantly different under the hood. Mentioned the Eagle One in particular because it seems to meet your sleep mode and energy requirements to a T Unfortunately I’m quite unfamiliar with the Sanremo line
It IS programmed to stop at a certain weight, the scale is connected to the machine :) This is also how it graphs the flow rate of the espresso into the cup vs pressure and pump flow rates
@@LifestyleLab_ thank you for the reply and the nice video. I was thinking that there would be a sensor to measure the amount of water going out inside without any scale.
@vd7529 this also exists in the machine, however flow meters are generally not as accurate as gravimetric dosing. Also, most espresso recipes refer to liquid out into the cup, not liquid volume into the puck. (Coffee generally absorbs around 1.5-2 grams of water per gram of dose). Check out our full review on the Decent, this machine does some pretty impressive things regardless of which workflow you prefer :)
Every time I’m tempted to maybe get a Decent, I listen to that awful noise and realize, nah…
This really makes you wanna get a Decent machine. No pun intended…
The sound of this machine… omg!
Is it possible to automatically froth the milk? Like breville?
No, this does not have any automatic air integration.
Love the Decent
What scales are you using?
That is the Acaia Lunar

How many grams of milk do you use
For this small Ember cup, 150mL
How the scale is working is reliable? No drop in connection
Yes, very reliable
@@LifestyleLab_ which model it is? I would like to try it and thank you
@mrjeffry25 I'm using the Acaia Lunar
What tool for WDT? Link, please. I have an LM, eight years old... I'm looking to upgrade to this machine. I love the video.
This was the DUOMO the Eight wdt
Which Profile u used
This was on the Adaptive for Medium Roasts profile
What size is your cup and how much milk did you steam overall?

If you’re mostly concerned about energy usage and serviceability, I would consider checking out the Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima

All these electronics and you still need to add a scale? It seems could be programmed to stop at a certain weight.

what the espresso machine?
Decent DE1Pro
Zero or Duo?
Duo
Can I have the tamper info please??
That is the Barista Hustle tamper
Thank you! Is the distributor the same brand?
No, the WDT is from Duomo
The worst sounding motor for ASMR! Otherwise, it's a great machine.
