  • We decided to go do the south loop offroad trail at tahuya. Part 1 we couldnt locate the trail so we returned once we found it. It was recently redesigned and still remains my favorite ORV park trail

What I love about tahuya is the choose your own adventure at the obstacles. Plus the puddles are super fun!!!

My property back doors to the park. The challenge here is bringing a K20, or an F350 through it. I've been through most of it in every thing from a 76 Toyota Carola to last week, a 21 jeep.
With all the cut outs and bypasses, this place can be ran for days. And dirt bikes rule out here.
Be well all, and have fun

Such a cool course! I wish cameras really could show how intense some parts of these parts feel! No better way but to get out there and experience it!

I left the scrape noises and in cab footage of bottoming out on things for that reason and i thought it was comical

I sure hope you extended your diff and trans breather hoses up higher, you don’t want to see the chocolate milkshake when you change your fluids next time. Fun video. Nice job.

Hi my name is Jeff and I just started following chnl I rode an camped and raced dirt bikes for nearly thirty years there at Tahya, and my question is to the 4runner owners in your group as I myself have a 2022 SR5 4runner with the factory predator package on it but I’m brand new to off-roading
and my question is what lift kits are you guys running if any as I would love to do some trails like those and maybe find some folks to go with. Thank you Jeff

    This video was awesome!
I've got a Subaru Ascent and need to figure out a way to increase the approach angle. Not quite sure how much more I add by removing the front bumper or not. Still have a ways to go with building it out. Skid plates are done, tires/wheels are done. Next is probably a 2" lift (will be 10" total ground clearance), but still limited by the approach (and departure) angle.
I live about an hour away from Tahuya and would like to visit some time, not sure if there's a beginner/easy route though for a vehicle like mine. :)

      @@GeistYT That's good to know!
We've done a bunch more stuff to our Subaru Ascent since my previous comment.
Now have a 2" front and 2.5" rear lift. Rear lockers by TorqMaster. Rock sliders, Front welded recovery points, front winch, full-size spare tire on a swing-out hitch, and a full roof rack (from Prinsu). We have traveled thousands of offroad miles, including a 3,400 mile trip through Arizona, Utah (including Moab), sections 1 - 3 of Utah BDR, Sections 1 and 2 (and part of 3) of WA BDR, and TONS of weekend offroad adventures through the cascades, including up by Mt Rainer and more.
Still haven't made it to Tahuya yet though. lol

I got a 2002 Sequoia 4wd. Looks like I can make it. It won't be easy!
Mine's 100% stock. I got half inch taller tires 😁. I've got some pretty good driving experience off-roading.

Sequoia is a big car for tahuya. Trails can be pretty tight. Just a matter of how adventurous you want to be
