Well, this channel and our commentators can be our own little clique for now lol. Yeah, that day was so lovely around Eastnor. Actually, it ruined the light totally towards the start of the video, it was that bright! I probably cut a lot of it out, but it wasn't ideal for essential bits that I had to keep in (with regards to lens flare on the camera etc - it was ruining stuff). And yeah, the subscribers thing is always a bit of a 'thing'. I'm human, so obviously I would love to have as many subscribers and views as possible, but - genuinely - my attitude is that I'll visit places that I like and that I think others like myself will like, and if people like them then that's brilliant. But, otherwise, people might not be interested, which is fair enough. But yeah, more subscribers would be nice, and I believe that if I keep being honest with my videos that eventually more people will come along for the future journeys :)
@@AdamExploresBritain I actually quite liked at the beginning when the sunlight was reflecting in the lens and making a rainbow, lol! I subscribed under both my logins so at least you have a couple. 🤪 I like how you talk about the house but don’t fill the whole thing up with chat, and you have a soothing voice. Plus I like how you pan slowly and don’t rush things. Sometimes people move so fast it makes me sick to my stomach! I think you are right, just go to the places you want to see. That is the most important part. Happy Holidays! Lynn
Thank you so much! I enjoy your videos and commentary and camera work. I recognized this "castle" from the television series: "Succession". It was great to actually see the house and rooms.
Oh, that's great. I didn't realise it had been in the programme Succession also, so that's great info for myself and others! It's a great looking place so I'm not surprised. I'll have to look out for it. I really appreciate your nice comments about my videos too, it means a lot. Many thanks, Adam :)
I really enjoyed this tour and it looked like a lovely day to explore the grounds as well. You are so lucky to have so many great homes to visit there. The scale of those rooms is just incredible as are the furnishings. They kept in shape using that staircase. The Pugin designed room was just sumptuous in every manner. The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. I like how you take your time, visit rooms off the beaten path and don't feel obligated to talk constantly. I've only seen a few but look forward to seeing them all. Thanks again.
That's very kind Jeffrey, thank you. It's lovely to get feedback on my little videos so I genuinely appreciate your comment. You're right, we are lucky to still have so many old country houses and estates over here! I really love Pugin's work so it was great to see one of his rooms pretty much exactly how he had finished it. A real treat for the eyes. Many thanks for watching, Adam :)
I love the character of the castle, straight out of a book! I also appreciate the way you take your time, and give us facts about the places you explore:)
It does actually come across as a pretty perfectly proportioned castle, as you mention it. Good point! Thanks for your kind words about my video/s too, it's honestly heartwarming to know that people appreciate them, and it encourages me to carry on and do more. Many thanks, Adam :)
OMG, one of my fav "Castle" in England.😍 Thank you so much for sharing! Very informative! Always enjoy your manors/stately homes tours vlog. I'm from Brunei and I love historic and grand houses. Some lovely houses come into my mind; Lyme Park, Raby Castle, Tyntesfield, Charlecote Park, Basildon, Felbrigg, Kingston Lacy 😍Hopefully to see more of this kind of vlog. Have a nice day :D
Thank you for your lovely comments. Ah yes, very nice places you've mentioned. I've been to Lyme Park, Charlecote Park and Tyntesfield (before I was video recording unfortunately). Tyntesfield is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for watching my videos, I'm glad you enjoy them, Adam :)
An excellent video, with very good coverage of the details of the castle, greetings from Ireland and I look forward to seeing this castle in person, Well done to you
Thanks a load Andrew, that's very kind of you. I always appreciate feedback as it spurs me on to continue to make more videos. I really hope you have a great trip when you next come to visit. Many thanks, Adam :)
Lovely Castle though it seems it's over decorated or, as my Granny would say, a little extravagent! The bedroom in red at 16:11 looks good though. The gardens & lake (lovely views from 22:46!) etc are good - the Ice House is much larger than one in the last video I commented on. Good video, well filmed!
Thanks again. Yeah, this was a nice ice house. I don't think I realised that it was actually there until I actually arrived at the entrance (if i remember rightly). A nice surprise. Yes, it is a little extravagent in places. Especially the Pugin room I suppose, but that was sort of his trademark. Thanks again, Adam :)
😊 Thanks again! I love the fact that you continue to enjoy my adventures. It was a lovely day out there, which was a nice change from the previous few weeks of rain and gloom. Thanks for always being interested in my trips, I really appreciate it. All the best, Adam :)
Good work filming and what a pleasure to watch. I always look forward to your tours. I especially like how you give information about the people involved in the design and construction. In this video, there were clear views of repairs made. It was nice to know people can bring dogs inside.
That's really nice of you to say, honestly. I was worried about the glare from the sun ruining some of the scenes. Hopefully they came across OK in the end. It was amazing that the family allowed dogs to go inside the house. Very clever of them and it shows that they have an understanding of the bond between human and canine. They're trendsetters here with the dog thing. I think it's brilliant that they allow well behaved dogs inside the house, and I think other places will follow.
Thank you very much for this beautiful tour. My favourite rooms were: the dining hall (7.20), the library (10.20) and the billiard room (12.30). The four-poster beds in the red bedroom (16.30) and the state bedroom (18.40) are magnificent. The fact the most people only talk about the paintings in these houses, neglecting the furniture and/or the silver is very unfair. Best wishes and greetings from Argentina.
I love your honest comments all the way from Argentina, thank You! Yes, you're right, the furniture and other decorations are amazing. This is a pretty special house really but the owners don't even boast about it quite as much as they should (commercially), potentially. It's all good though, I'm pretty sure the owners are very shrewd and will make sure that the place is looked after for generations to come. Thanks again for watching from Argentina. I like your country and your football team too. All the best, Adam :)
@@AdamExploresBritain Thank you very much for your kind words, your beautiful videos allow me to visit the nicest places in the UK without leaving home (that is what I call "terrific savings"! 😁😁😁) I am glad the owners of Eastnor castle are doing well, the place looks fantastic. I have a friend who does excellent videos of Argentina in HD, I will send you a couple. I wish you a beautiful weekend.
Just beautiful! Those views around the lake are lovely. You do such a great job with these tours. I don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers!

Lovely informative video.... pity about the noise from the kids!!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it, apart from the additional noise haha. Adam :)
I got very drunk there once. Great castle though
Sounds like fun :)
