That was a bit emotional. My brother was one of the fireman, trying to rescue valuables while the ceiling was coming apart. Sadly, he chose to leave us just 8 weeks later. He's now buried in Clandonwood Natural Burial Ground.

It surprises me to see such old books being handled without gloves.
They do t use gloves these days, but he was extra handsy with it, and then kissed the front cover! Ahhh
