A gm domestic vehicle new pump at idle is about 2000 rpm. Will climb to 2500 on wot on road. P2635 will set at about 5000 rpm. Also the fuel pump trims will tell the condition of the pump

i have a Jag with a stall issue, has the 3 phase pump. I'll see what i can come up with for a waveform. curious what were looking for an a failed unit

great video. how come snap on scope doesn't allows format to break down the cursored delta time to be split equally into various time or degrees like other top end scopes. it just allows us to see time between various degree's

What would the signals looks like if the pump was unplugged? Would the PWM still remain the same but there would be no amperage draw?

I a. New to snap-on. My question is what do I need for plugging in to the engine to test I think I have part of but not to sure

For scope testing, you'll need the scope leads that came with the tool. You may want to get some backprobe pins as well.

That will depend on the manufacturer. You'd have to check repair info to be sure on a specific vehicle.
