I'm buying this exact bike tomorrow. I am 5'10" and shrinking at age 60. I love the Triumph brand and every review of this bike has been very positive. I have a Tiger 1050 now with a 32.8" seat height and weight of 517 lbs., and I can scoot down in the saddle enough to almost be flat-footed on both feet. I know I will be tippy-toed on the 2023 model at 34.44" in the low seat height mode, and 575 lbs. wet I'll be carrying an extra 58 lbs. I'm also jumping from 113 to 148 hp! I understand the center of gravity is lower nonetheless, so that is a plus. Not only that, the advances in technology over 12 years are significant. Regardless, I will be shopping for a lowering kit, although I worry about changing the engineered design and performance. Any suggestions?
I didn't check that, I was just interested in how much is changes unloaded... i suspect the change would be greater with weight of rider and gear. If id doesn't one would have to give up suspension performance for height.
It does go back. However, if you go rider mode and adjust the settings (to comfort) from that mode it will remember the settings for that mode. Each time you select that mode it will lower the bike. In the end its not much of a lowering. You also loose the suspension performance of the other modes.
I bought the lowered heated seat for my Rally Pro and to be completely honest I did not notice a change at all. The lowered seat feels the exact same as the standard seat. My guess is that *if* the seat is actually thinner to make the height lower the difference is only at the rear part of the seat, which is honestly weird because the back of the seat is the widest, making it even harder to reach the ground. It is heated tho which is a plus if you have a Pro instead of an Explorer, but yeah dont bet on it.
@@Carlisho OK, thanks for the input. I would like to try it 1st. before purchase, but the dealers will not allow me to try it out . They say it is electronic, so no returns. I have the Rally Explorer.

Hello Mike good Chanel i need to know your model off tool box on the luggage frame, thank’s
I used the Givi tool box. In the end I took it off because during off road riding the swingarm would hit the box.
1/2 a CM is game changing length I bet.
Doesn’t it go back to normal
Ride height once you start riding?

Has anyone tried the lowered seat Triumph sells?
It is 20mm lower, heated, $510. Seems like a lot to pay for 3/ 4 inch gain, but may be worth it.

...and here is the solution from Triumph themselves - updated software for suspension : th-cam.com/video/ewF4Ndf_MCA/w-d-xo.html
