I have a G9 myself, the engine and mufflers have a special sound, all of their own, not like any other old English twin. As well as the 1955 G9, I have the 1952 AJS with single saddle, single sided hubs and 4 gallon tank. Which I think are the best examples of the 500cc twins. I just love going for a ride on them. ❤
G9 was the worst bike I've ever had, but not it's fault. Nice features - the easiest valves to adjust on anything, ever, that push button kill on the mag, and the AMC DA chain guard.
Que lindo que es poder tener motos de esos años y en esas condiciones saludos de un viejo motociclista Argentino

I also have a 52 Model 20 Spring Twin , it's a bit scruffy but in the last five years I have covered over 20k miles on it .
Got to get to your place, pick a bike and get myself some smiles. Nothing to old. A ridable classic.
Absolutely agree, trouble is the missus isn't keen.
Great machine of the time, even now…..my favorite brand from the 60s. Thx. 👍🏻
Shaken not stirred when you return home. Had one in the 7ties
Beautiful bike. 🥰
It is and it didn't hang around , a chap came in today to have a look and bought it .
@@peterranson4365 Wow that's Great. Not Surprising for the condition its in.
Good to see
Race Shift - nice :-D
AMC’s always underrated until you’ve owned and ridden one.
Dry clutch right?
Well there is oil in the primary chain case , just enough to lube the chain and cush drive.
