- Are you just getting started making molds and casts? This is the video for you! This is the basic thought process you will need to adopt to avoid a lot of problems throughout the molding and casting process.
In the next few videos I will be molding this Halo helmet provided by @Rynoprops. This is a 3D printed helmet pattern that will ultimately be cast in an impact resistant Polyurethane resin. I will be making a silicone mold that will be used to cast TC-808 or TC-804 casting resin.
Planning: Make sure you have a clear plan of attack for your mold and cast. Think through every step of the mold process and make sure you can clearly visualize how you will make the mold and how material will be cast into the mold.
Think backwards: Start with the casting material and work back from that point to make sure every step and material will be compatible with the final casting material and method.
Material Selection: Be sure that you are using materials that will compliment your chosen mold method. Know what casting and molding materials are available to you. Talk to your material supplier and develop a relationship with them. A good relationship with your material supplier will ensure good technical help and alert you to products you didn't know about that can help your production.

Well i could have used this video 15 years ago....
Mold somthing like a Batman cowl or armor and the. Show how to cast in a flexible materiel like a 40 shore urethane rubber . Been following this channel for a while now and have yet to see somthnog like that
